My dentist advised me to switch to baking soda toothpaste in order to keep my teeth healthy. Because every other whitening product I've tried, including various crest/colgate products (toothpastes, rinses, strips), never delivered, I assumed this toothpaste would be the same and purchased it solely on the dentist's recommendation. While I can't say whether my teeth are healthier (though I haven't had a cavity since switching 6 months ago, which could mean nothing), they are noticeably whiter. Since using this product, several people have complimented me on the color of my teeth, which is surprising because I've had very yellow teeth since I was a child. I'd tried everything else except professional teeth whitening and thought my teeth were impervious to color change. After a month and a half of twice-daily use, there was a noticeable difference with no other changes to my dental hygiene routine. My teeth have returned to their natural whiteness - It's not a blinding white, which is what I prefer. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be
- The texture is a little grittier than usual. The scrubbing action makes my teeth feel cleaner, similar to what you'd get if you poured baking soda into your toothpaste.
- The flavor is acceptable but not exceptional. With a hint of mint, it has a very bland, almost bitter flavor. It took some time to get used to, but I'm no longer aware of it.
- Whitening ability - In my experience, natural white is preferable to blinding white. It is likely to be determined by the natural color of your teeth. I used to use Colgate toothpaste, but when I moved in with my husband, I switched to Crest. It was a little salty at first, but nothing too off-putting that you couldn't get used to. Arm & Inside each tube of toothpaste, Hammer used to include a description slip with a color progression for teeth whitening. About 5 years ago, they stopped installing it. Your teeth will be at least two shades whiter after using this product. To begin with, my teeth were in good shape. It allegedly whitened my husband's teeth by three or four shades, according to him. It is not harsh or irritating to the gums or teeth in general. Colgate Total used to make my mouth feel numb, and if I drank orange juice right after brushing my teeth, it tasted sour. This toothpaste, on the other hand, has a great taste and is a great value. I'm thrilled that this is now available as a subscribe and save item on Amazon. This is a much better deal than Walmart or Target.
Have you ever had a burning sensation in your mouth after biting into a hot pizza? This is the kind of discomfort you can expect from using this disgusting toothpaste, which has a caustic formula that irritates and burns the inside of your mouth. Your lips will become chapped as a result of it. A single brushing will take days to recover from. There isn't a single star to be found in this film. At all costs, stay away.
My mouth became extremely dry, my tongue felt burned, a couple of bumps appeared under my tongue, my lips were chapped, and the corners of my mouth were cracking as a result of this toothpaste. Because it wasn't immediate, I didn't immediately connect it to the toothpaste. To help, I purchased a gentle toothpaste and mouthwash for dry mouth. My oral hygiene has improved significantly. My husband continued to use it with no problems, and I was lazy one night and used the first toothpaste I saw. My lips were chapped, my tongue was burnt, and my mouth was dry the next morning.
This is what I use in conjunction with Listerine Pre-Moisturizer. Rinse with a brush. I adore you so much!.
I don't usually write reviews, but holy h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h- This stuff is as bad as double hockey sticks. It was important to me that I liked it- It was recommended to me by my dentist's office, but it blistered the inside of my mouth and left my lips and corners dry and irritated, despite the fact that I only used it in the morning. I wasn't sure it was this at first, so I tried to rule out other possibilities (e. g. , the other toothpaste I was using at night, gum, etc. ) but the side effects mentioned above would only return with a vengeance when I used THIS terrible stuff. You're on your own if you want to use it.
I really wanted to like this budget-friendly whitening toothpaste, especially because I adore all Arm and Hammer products because they are so simple to use and don't contain any unnecessary ingredients. But I'm sure I'm one of these posh, * toothe-y types. I can't stand the texture of regular toothpaste, like this Arm and Hammer formula, so I'm a gel * millennial. br>br>Because of the gritty, paste-like formula and the taste of sea salt and baking soda, it's difficult to use on a daily basis, which is a shame because it whitens my teeth noticeably. That's why I've decided to keep both tubes and only use them on weekends. I've noticed that when I use this toothpaste, I'm much more likely to become self-conscious of my breath halfway through the day than when I use other brands. I guess it's just not the right fit for me and my mouth!.
