We have used some other brands and they had broken or crumbled. However, these ones did not burst or fall apart. in their current form, they aren't edible. I did not count the quantity, but it seemed accurate. When soaked, it turns into a very pale, translucent color, just like the picture shows.

There is nothing fancy about these, they are basically Orbeezes without the fancy As they say, they perform exactly as they say. Currently they are serving as "crystal soil" for my snake plant, but my toddler also likes to play with them by sticking his hand into a bowl filled with them.

I gave them such a low review because they fell apart so quickly. It's cool, but my fingernail or spoon can rip them apart if I press on them or if my child plays with them while it's touching I used to plan on using this as a sensory bin toy, but I can't do that anymore. In my opinion, they are fine if they are used for decoration only. It's very similar to what I had a few years back, only they were much stronger.

You did an excellent job with these! It's wonderful to see all the different colors in these pieces. A multi-pack of multi-grain bread was also purchased They were color ones, and I noticed a huge difference between them and these ocean color Once the balls were put in water, they were much more likely to break. In addition, the white ones usually did not have a perfect round shape (some of them had very odd shapes) and not all of them ended up the same size. I've bought both kinds of them in vases until they shriveled back down again. Those with mix of oceans tend to lose more water than those with only one ocean You can get color ones too. that for the most part, they do what they are supposed to do, they are fun, and they are.
