In the wake of the several positive reviews regarding these beads, I decided to try them. year old is on the autism spectrum and I am always trying to find ways to keep her interested with educational and motivational products. When I finally got my daughter to stick her hand in and play around with the beads, it only took me about 10 minutes Despite the distance, she was in love with Recommended for children who enjoy sensory play.
When she discovered these in the classroom, my wife, who is a preschool teacher, was introduced to them by another teacher. I had to buy one for my own daughter after she insisted on buying it! We restock them almost immediately whenever we run out, because they are some of the very best tactile toys she has ever encountered. The following highlights highlight a few of the The texture is It is the texture of these water beads that really makes them stand out from the crowd, and they deserve all the attention Children and adults alike find it impossible to resist the desire to run their hands through them over and over and over again! COLOR BLUE The color scheme of the ocean/water water beads is our favorite as our daughter especially enjoys playing with them while holding sea creatures. We have bought several varieties of water beads, but we've settled on this particular style as our favorite. I recommend that you soak for at least 20 minutes. of the things that make these beads great is that they are fun throughout the whole process. During the first few days, our daughter likes to play with the beads as water pellets, transferring them from one tub to another using a syringe and other squirting toys. In our experience, it works best to start a batch in the afternoon and let them soak overnight, by which time they will be fully cooked During the morning hours, the plant grows. Please note QUALITY A $7 coupon. It's an AMAZING deal to pay just $50 for about 12,000 beads! When you just plan to grow them for you and your family, you don't have to grow all 12,000 at once. Our ideal growing area is about 100 square meters I usually put 200 at a time in water beads and then leave them out for a while. Our daughter usually enjoys playing with them for 3-4 minutes. We will keep them for 4 days before disposing a break between batches, so that the next time you grow a batch will be fun and fresh. Here is the only downside only down side to these water beads is that if they are pressed too hard, they can break down into a mealy assortment of broken beads (see photograph). At the bottom, the broken pieces eventually form a layer of mulch that can ruin the effect of the delightful texture provided by the water beads. There's no reasonable way to anticipate that a toddler will not squeeze them until they pop, so there needs to be a way to manufacture these that won't break like this. I don't think it's a huge deal if one of the beads breaks down- The very first batch of broken beads can be useful as a bead breaker, but once you reach a critical mass it's time to throw the batch away and start again. Bottom line, my wife and I absolutely love these water beads and will keep a stock on hand, both for our own family and her You'll be glad you did!.
We have used some other brands and they had broken or crumbled. However, these ones did not burst or fall apart. in their current form, they aren't edible. I did not count the quantity, but it seemed accurate. When soaked, it turns into a very pale, translucent color, just like the picture shows.
During my classroom visit, I received a package that filled the entire sand table. There were a lot of kids who seemed to enjoy Mold growth was reduced with the addition of essential oils.
There is nothing fancy about these, they are basically Orbeezes without the fancy As they say, they perform exactly as they say. Currently they are serving as "crystal soil" for my snake plant, but my toddler also likes to play with them by sticking his hand into a bowl filled with them.
They loved it so much that I filled a water table with beads. We had a lot of fun with my two little ones, ages 2 and 5. The opportunities are enough for us to keep doing this through the summer.
I gave them such a low review because they fell apart so quickly. It's cool, but my fingernail or spoon can rip them apart if I press on them or if my child plays with them while it's touching I used to plan on using this as a sensory bin toy, but I can't do that anymore. In my opinion, they are fine if they are used for decoration only. It's very similar to what I had a few years back, only they were much stronger.
You did an excellent job with these! It's wonderful to see all the different colors in these pieces. A multi-pack of multi-grain bread was also purchased They were color ones, and I noticed a huge difference between them and these ocean color Once the balls were put in water, they were much more likely to break. In addition, the white ones usually did not have a perfect round shape (some of them had very odd shapes) and not all of them ended up the same size. I've bought both kinds of them in vases until they shriveled back down again. Those with mix of oceans tend to lose more water than those with only one ocean You can get color ones too. that for the most part, they do what they are supposed to do, they are fun, and they are.
