Munchables Combo - Skull, Dog Tags & Dragon

The munchables jewelry I purchased is two necklaces. There was no chemical or other type of odor or smell from them, they were quick and arrived as promised. Despite its size, it's not a small necklace, it's just a little smaller than the palm of my hand. Although my son still fits the whole thing in his mouth at once, I feel anything smaller would pose a choking hazard, so I'm okay with the size, but if you wanted a discrete way to go about this, you should look elsewhere. The collar or sleeve of my 5 year old's shirt or coat is always in his mouth, making his clothes wet and hard after drying, and even ruining a coat, so I bought him this chew necklace so he could chew it instead of his clothes. Since I'm not sure how often he'll remember to use it, I am not sure how often he will. The shirt has been well received by his friends, but within the first week he lost it twice. The shirt has not been worn to school, but he told me the other day that it must be working since he has not chewed on his shirt the past two days. I guess the mind has a lot of power. The second one I bought was the Grey Dragon Chewelery. My other son (7 years old) doesn't chew on things, but he wanted one too, so I bought one for him too and so far has used it quite a bit. I do not believe I have any major complaints so far. If I discover that it gets chewed down and comes apart, I will be sure to update my review. However, it seems to be pretty sturdy and after a couple days has no teeth marks on it.

The 4yr old in my family has autism, and he chews the collars of his shirts. I think this really helps, even if he prefers chewing on the cord or clasp instead, which may be too big for his mouth right now. In the end, we had to tie the ends because the latter is now unusable. While a more durable clasp would be more helpful, the product is not really at fault for this. There are also little rubber bumps on the bones that seem to break easily to become swallowed, which is problematic. My son enjoys the dino skull pendant, and I think the pendant as a whole is pretty durable so far.
