Buying this product for my son, who chews on his Legos and other plastic items a lot, was a good idea. I chose Blue because I believe it is the most firm out of the colors on the color firmness chart. I make sure my son wears it on a daily basis The lego has been sitting for about three weeks now it has discolored, disfigured, and begun to dent. In any case, he is a fairly aggressive chewer, so the tooth may last longer for someone else. It is holding up fine, both the necklace and the clasp. Despite the shortcomings of the necklace, my son is highly satisfied. It sometimes locks his jaw, and that's all he has to say about it. Our five year old son has always liked to put things in his mouth/chew, but not to an extent that it affected his clothes As he began kindergarten, he began chewing much more intensely. His teeth have eaten holes in several shirt collars and he has chewed things in the house, too. It was the first thing he called his "chewy" as soon as it arrived. As soon as he saw me, he attacked! The blue chew necklace was just received, and my 5 year old son with sensory processing issues uses them all the time. He started with the turquoise and green chew necklaces (medium density), and now he has the blue chew necklace Normally, I would give this product 5 stars, but the clasp needs to be improved. The clasp is made of plastic and my son chews on it, which means it will not stay attached.
