Questions & Answers

The number of 28mm miniatures that can be made with one package is approximately how many?

The size of the scale would determine how long it would take. As a 28mm scale human model with simple accessories (like an Imperial Guardsman from 40k) and a base made of some kind of material I would estimate that 10-12% of this figure will be made from this material It is not impossible that 12 could be achieved. It could be even more if your waste is limited and you work efficiently. It depends upon the scale of the monster. Even in 28mm, it could be any size.

Does it hold up well to pants?

The type of paint used determines the result. My favorite paints are those from "The Army Painter". I use acrylic for my work.

What is the potential danger?

Is it toxic? What do you mean by that? By touching it, you must not be hurt. You must be able to use it with bare fingers. A epoxy is used for the After you mix the two parts together, you have a limited period of time in which to shape the mixture (depending on the amount you blended). The stuff you're talking about is my favourite! Since I no longer use any other materials for my personal sculpts, I only can use these two materials. Like "Green Stuff," it is designed to be used for miniature gaming sculpts. However, I have found it extremely user-friendly, and I like the fact that it's plastic I use this texture on ALL of my sculptures now, because it is so appealing to me. I doubt that it's toxic, but if you eat it, I imagine it's likely to be very dangerous. Whatever the case may be, no fumes, no toxins, no cancer-causing substances The agents responsible for causing the problem are those I am This is my second year using it and I'm still on there! I loved everything about this! Take a chance on it. To learn how to use it in your own style, it does take time. The first time I got it, it didn't appeal to me. I tried it again with more patience after a while and now I don't know how I'd live without it!

The product can it be bent?

This material doesn't bend very easily. The consistency is similar to plaster, but polymer clay properties add to its ease of use. Molds love this stuff. I hope you have a great time.

It's the best product around for miniature builders and action figure customizers, and it's infinitely better than any comparable item
4/5

As a sculpting material, this will be very helpful for miniature builders and action figure customizers, and it's infinitely better than the closest competitor, Despite the fact that this material does not shrink and is easier to sculpt and sand, it can be made into flexible objects by varying the resin and hardener -- something neither greenstuff or the more rigid Apoxie or Milliput can produce. It's still a great product to include in your kit even with a lot of resin, as the flexibility is still limited and you need to use paint that accommodates it. The price is a bargain, too. If you slather this on a wet surface, be aware that it will be less sticky and blendable than ProCreate on dry surfaces. If you're trying to add onto something, make sure it's flush. With the use of water, you can flatten the cloth into sheets, which can be cut into cloth details like belts and capes, for instance.

Detailed and easy to work with, but hard to write
3/5

This is a very firm Actually, I would have liked this better if I had been able to pick it out. Unfortunately, I'm not really into it. Especially when it comes to small customizations, it is too stiff and difficult to work with. It seems to be difficult to make this stick to the model I am The detail is extremely well held when I am able to stay with it and sculpt with it! In this case, building a sculpt from scratch (or designing more mechanical components) might make more sense. This is something I really want to like and be able to use, but it's so frustrating to have the image move around and not stay in the place I am working in when In some ways, it is similar to working with Apoxie Sculpt or Magic Sculpt once it has set up and become too hard to handle. Then again, if you enjoy working with hard materials like that, then this may be your cup of tea! The only thing I need is seamless edges and to sculpt details on models - this will not do. say that if you play with the proportions, you can get the image to be softer, but I tried shifting the ratio and it didn't make any significant changes. With it, I did succeed in sculpting a beautiful tail. The horn would not stay in place when I tried sculpting it, so I had to scrap it and try another approach. I will probably just use the majority of this as filler or as a base. Although I didn't get to try it, I was glad I did. As a result, do not waste your money if you do not like working with the.

These parts are perfect for custom figures that have flexible parts! Then when I realized you could customize the mixer to make it more flexible after wrapping my head around the action figure customization scene, I decided to try Procreate
5/5

For sculpting anything you need to have some give to it, this is the perfect material. This is a good product for clothing and hair on custom figures, so far I have not encountered any issues. One thing that I would definitely recommend to purchase along with this item is some sort of sculpting Vaseline so that your hands and tools won't stick to it and ruin your work. My tools would stick all the time before I started using Vaseline, and I would freak out because my details were gone.

It's been a dream come true for a simple hobbyist
5/5

I've been modifying action figures for the last 10 years using sculpting clay. My work has been done using Aves Apoxie Sculpt exclusively up until last year. In terms of normal sculpting, this stuff is more or less bulletproof, but any thin or intricate details are typically easy to snap off. As a result, ProCreate is perfectly suited to sculpting thin, durable, flexible details, like long hair when mixed in varying ratios. You might find beards or tails braided or scarves or ponchos created with braids. The results are well worth the time it takes to get used to them, although working with this material can be a challenge. Please remember to keep your hands, hands tools, and sculpting tools a little wet when working, and you should be fine.

Side note, when I got my order, it seemed a bit old, or perhaps wasn't stored properly. I noticed that the strip of "hardener" before was rather dry and a bit darker than what I got from another batch of material I purchased some time Although the pack is a loss, it is by no means a total loss. If I want to mix the two together, I need to mash the resin and the hardener separately first.

Quite a bit harder than expected to work with
3/5

As a first-time user of two-dimensional graphics, I would appreciate some help My material was part sculpting material and I had a lot of trouble getting it out of its It really seemed to me that the fumes would make the material harden, so I separated the sticks into their own bags. It has been difficult to figure out how to use these materials, and I should probably refrain from saying much about them, except to say that the factory packaging could have been better.

This is a very dry product
3/5

The stuff I tried appeared to be very interesting, but I am not sure I was given a fair opportunity to try My slurry is quite dry, and even when I mix for the longest amount of time (180 minutes), I can only get about an hour out of it, and it's getting quite stiff in the last 10-15 minutes. There is probably an element of I moved into an apartment with an average temperature of about 74 °F. Although it feels quite sticky and moist at first, in the end it does not feel sticky or very moist. Has the batch I received been tampered with? The product does keep its shape and does not 'push back out' of the detailing like green stuff does. In addition, you get outstanding value for the money, thus the two.

Give it a try
5/5

This is something you have to try! The idea of sculpting is new to me. I have never used anything like this. You can have so much fun playing with this stuff! I love how smooth it is. The product can be thinned down almost to nothing when it is blended.
