There are 10 probe covers in each box. With this deal, you get 10 boxes for the price of one, so you get Each box is large enough for you to pry it open and insert the box into the slot on the back of the thermometer. That's why there's more than ten boxes. When taking a patient's temperature, you can put the probe directly into the cover. You can remove the probe from the cover to apply to the patient without touching the probe cover (avoiding contamination) because you do not have to lift the probe out of its box to remove the probe.

Mexican products are made of high quality and made in Mexico. Stanford Health Care is extensive in its use of the Welsh Allyn thermometer, which is top of the line. The reason I bought it was that I wanted precise readings of temperature. Purchasing it is expensive, but it is well worth the expense if precision is your top

The product is not sterile, it does not fit snuggly on a standard thermometer, and it does not look high-quality. I was very disappointed.

My job at a hospital required that I use these. In my haste to bring them home, I brought some unused ones home & I had a psychotic episode with my cats. The price was excellent and the quality was excellent as well They've made it easier for me by no longer having to keep looking for the ones that they've managed to lose.
When they are used correctly on the right type of thermometer they can be very accurate.
They are not only not for thermometers, but they are nonreturnable as well. You should be careful when buying. A standard digital thermometer cannot be fitted with them. I tried to take my temperature regardless of the fact that I was only able to fit about a third of the cover on. The read is not available. This is the thickest thing I've ever seen. The economy is in a downturn, and companies must be vigilant when promoting these types of bogus bargains.

It's likely that if you've ever been to the doctor, you have had your temperature taken with a machine that uses this cover. It's wonderful to have a place where you can easily purchase covers for them. I own one of those thermometers, which I recommend to everyone.
These Allyn Disposable Probe Covers can be used again and again. We gave this order away as a gift and it was a big hit. It came in right on schedule, since they ran out. I would buy it again, but I will buy it for myself next time.
Rather disappointing that I received a generic brand. The name brand was less than half the price a year ago, so it is disappointing to have the generic.
