Yes, I have had it for a couple years now and I'm familiar with it because I've been in almost every hospital I've been to using it
There is a need to reset or recalibrate the device.
There is no problem with its use outside the mounting system. It is nothing more than a holder for the phone. There is an ease in which it can be mounted on the wall and removed, but that is all there is to it. It is held at a place. Wall mounts are not necessary in order to use the display. I have used a lot of thermometers over the years but this is by far the best.

A 692 is better than a 690 in my opinion. The difference between ours and our daughter's was less than 20 dollars at the time. The size is large enough that it can go on a wall but even if you don't use the wall-mount (we hung ours in a closet so we always know where it is) the screen is backlit. Probably more often than you think you do, you check your child's temperature at night and like not to turn on the bright light. All kinds of thermometers have been tried, but this one varies by even a few tenths each time you take it, while the others were all off a couple of In order to get a child to read, there are several factors to consider, such as how still they are. However, we found this one to be much more accurate than saving money by using a cheaper one. The idea seems overkill, but not detecting a high temperature can lead to serious consequences. The instructions are on a CD, which was very irritating since there was no printed instructions, even on how to use the product. As an alternative, I found a PDF to download on their website. My instructions aren't exactly clear which makes dealing with them confusing, especially for a simple man like me. I still haven't figured out how to retake a temperature other than sticking it back into the base and starting again. As with the Celsius version, this one starts in Celsius mode, but if you press the Fahrenheit button it Additionally, the 692 has both a timer and a security feature, which are just bonuses for us since we will not be using them. As a result, we believe we will be able to determine whether people are seriously ill.
In our experience, we haven't found them highly reliable even though we had several of them from our first child. Our time spent in the NICU with our twins allowed us to get used to things like thermometers just working as they should. We/they used the same thermometer for their discharge and it works perfectly every single time. Before they were discharged (and on the nurses' advice) we purchased two highly rated standard digital thermometers at an inexpensive price. A huge mistake has been made! The results are inaccurate and often low, based on the tests I conducted with both. The idea of spending a lot of money on a thermometer seems ridiculous until you discover you can't trust the results of They seem to have a fever, but do they really have one? Is there anything we have to do to stop the bleeding? It gives me great peace of mind knowing what I get at home is identical to what I get in a hospital or doctor's office. In the end, I should have just bought this thermometer in the first place since I've had to spend so much money on various thermometers over the years only to have them stop working or fail to provide accurate results!.
Because this thermometer is accurate and durable, we bought it as part of a hospital supply. There are many medical centers and doctors' offices that use this exact model. I expected it to be good, and it has been. The program is very easy to use and we can always count on it. After removing the probe from the holder, insert it into a fresh disposable probe cover (sold separately). This automatically turns on the thermometer, and you can begin using it. A simple change of the F to C reading is possible. In addition to the probe covers, we purchased it with the box of 250 covers and have been extremely satisfied with it. The price is higher than that of the drug store variety, but if you can afford this, it is well worth the extra cost.
After going through ten different thermometers and having frustration with their lack of accuracy, we decided to purchase this. Thank you so much - I'm so glad we got it It also gives us great peace of mind when it comes to taking our children's temperature and our own.
It was impossible to get an accurate reading with a thermometer since mercury was banned. is a good method. You're right - it is.
There were no problems with it, just the empty plastic covering that covered it. There were several things that I don't like about how it was handled and delivered. I highly recommend this thermometer because it is It was terrible that the packaging and delivery were so bad. Because I have to pick it up ASAP for my daycare, I will not have an opportunity to send it back. A different set of circumstances would be great!.
My reading is correct because I have confidence in it. In the end, it ends up saving us a lot of money because our kids don't get falsely high temperatures and we don't have to take them to the doctor or hospital when they don't.
