It was going from 96 to 142 despite not feeling sick, so I checked for the next few days, even after I felt fine. The readings continued to be bizarre, varying from 96 to 142. I am in the 70's to the 103+ range. I just got a reading that was 108 and that was my final joke. As a result, I am apparently I'm not saying this is a faulty model, but this kind of feels like a product that is designed to be more intelligent than it is capable of being. Be a little skeptic if you get odd readings from the device rather than blindly believing it.
It has been fantastic with this product at my friends' place and I have already used it myself and it works well.
Please do not purchase this thermometer and it's a total waste of money.
It works well like a thermometer - The seller did not respond to my contact about a dead battery when it came out of its package
I contacted the seller about it but have not heard back. Reviews of the thermometer are positive, but those of the seller are.
Since I knew exactly what I wanted, I was able to purchase it. Finally I was able to get my hands on the thermometer, and I was very disappointed! An entirely different thermometer that would not even work and that I couldn't find a replacement battery for. It went into the trash, so it was disposed of.
I give it NO stars since it fluctuates in meaning so much that it's impossible to trust it. In the beginning, it read 99, but I had chills and felt feverish, most likely accurate. I had an MS infusion. Furthermore, I noticed that the more I used the thermometer, the worse the temperature readings became. I have been given a temperature of 103 and I do not feel The readings in my lab have not been alarming highs, so I know I have a low grade. Parents, this is not appropriate for you, and do not purchase it online or anywhere else. Mine was purchased from Walgreens, so it did not come from the seller but VICKS paid for a test, but did not conduct one.
About a week ago, I purchased a Vicks RapidRead from a retail store in my area. The Vicks measurements were not consistent with those of another brand which I had on hand. The Vick measurements were spread out over the five-minute intervals, and I was required to retry up to six The closest consecutive measurements were rarely within a few centimeters. In most cases, there was a 1 spread. It's a 5 to 2 vote. There is no point in adjusting your thermostat. It would not hold much interest for me to use it with children, especially when it comes to use with young The next time I try a new brand, I'll try another one.
Most of the reviews here are in agreement with mine. I used this thing twice when I had a fever and the readings were always changing. The doctor said I was FEELING feverish, and my temperature was 100 degrees when I went to see him. The temperature it reads when I try to take my temperature with this device ranges from 96°F to 105°F Three degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature I have is not near what I have actually experienced or what is Resulting in trash.
