They are, I guess. The thermometer comes enclosed in paper that you peel off. This means that all that comes into contact with the outside of the plastic is the inside of the mouth of the person taking the temperature.

The dimensions of an individual cover (length x width) are?

Answer is hard to give since the probe cover is actually the inner plastic that is pulled off the outer paper covering (which is about 4.5 in x 1 1/4 in or about 11 1/2 in x 3 in). A soft disposable probe cover is a little over two inches becomes narrower toward the point.

A single cover is included in each order. Attached are several of the materials I received from other companies. In many cases, when attempting to separate the covers, they would not separate easily, wasting a strip of paper.

There are several types of thermometers that are compatible with them since they are "generic"

The product is good, but the packaging is poor

Upon delivery, the ziplock bag that contained the product had been opened, spilling the probe covers all over the box. This was the most frustrating aspect of the product. We used a bag that is too small to hold the covers for the probes. In order to repackage them in a larger ziplock bag, I had to enlarge the Aside from that, I'm happy with the product.

I use the probe covers. Since COVID is a daily check, I know my temperature every morning. To slide the thermometer into the probe cover presented between the two paper covers, I had to do it a couple of times.
