A thermometer's plastic cover does not need to be used. A mild soap and water are enough to clean your Kinsa QuickCare. The entire thermometer can be thoroughly cleaned with 70% alcohol to remove any remaining bacteria. The thermometer may be permanently damaged by a high concentration of alcohol do not use higher concentration of alcohol than 70%. If you use an alcohol concentration higher than 70%, your display will be discolored or cloudy. It is important to never expose the Kinsa to boiling water, a dishwasher, or under running water. Taking rectal readings with your Kinsa QuickCare is a personal preference. If you're using it to take a rectal reading, we recommend that you do not use it to take oral and underarm readings.

I carefully followed the instructions to pair my phone and it worked like a charm Today is the first day of school.
