Those keys are on the F and J keys on my keyboard, as well as on my cordless After the surfaces had been cleaned with alcohol, I installed the product. A week is not long enough for them to stay on. These have only been used on clean, smooth keycaps and I've had no trouble keeping them In my opinion, you would get a very different experience if you applied them Then I clean the area with rubbing alcohol, peel off the back, press the dot against the surface hard for 30 seconds, and let it dry. Once that's done, it's on for good or for ill. It's also possible to remove the rubber around the keycap to just have a nice crisp dot.
