You can practice braille with this tool
5/5

The slate looks good. My sight has just been legally restored, and I am currently learning to use My friends who are blind and who know Braille are also among my friends. The easiest way to use this is with a piece of paper slightly wider than the slate. You can use this to deliver letters, etc. Paper needs to be between the slate and the closure in order to fully close it. As a result of this, the paper has a few holes, but you can easily trim it when you are finished. In addition, remember that in order for this to function, you will have to reverse the braille letters so that they appear the correct way on the other side of the paper. It is tearing the paper in other reviews, and other reviewers gave it low ratings for this reason. My experience wasn't like that at all. There are little grooves in the solid part of the slate where they can be inserted with the stylus. Ensure that the stylus rests flush against the hole when you push it down. It's not necessary to push yourself.

Despite its flaws, this product is very good for the price
4/5

Good for the price. I would have preferred directions or a braille alphabet (since you are punching "backward"). Too sharp of a stylus is a major improvement that needs to be made. A hole was punched in the paper using a stylus even when it was printed on cardstock. The braille is small and can be smoothed to make it as effective as possible. There is no problem if you put a few extra sheets in there as well. It punches through them and leaves a clean, holeless impression on the sheet of paper that it is pressing on.
