Selected User Reviews For Braille Slate- 6 Lines x 19 Cells with Stylus
Compared to other slates, this one does what you'd expect. The cells are evenly spaced, and there are no extra white spaces between the lines like I've had There are two things I would like to complain about. As you can see from this picture, this slate contains a lot of metal. It is obvious that there is a good amount of metal beyond where the lines of cells end, making the slate much larger than the cards it is supposed to hold. A second problem is that the cards are impossible to hold The slate I own is designed to hold larger cards securely using pins and holes poked through the edges of the slate in order to hold the card in place. This prevents the card from moving even if the slate is moved around or the card is put back in after Since this slate does not have such a mechanism, it makes operation more difficult. In general, if you are used to slates without such a system, you will be fine. If, on the other hand, you expect it, you will be disappointed.
For fear that I wouldn't ever order the big one and spend the few more dollars, I didn't want to order the big one. Later when I have a little more time, I'll order a bigger one. I received my order quickly, as I do with everything I order These companies do provide excellent service for a reasonable fee.
The light and portable design. Our purchase included this item in order to create braille cards, notes, etc. for our niece who is blind, so that she could read on her own rather than needing a sighted person to read to her all of the time. The process was a bit strange at first and I grateful for some assistance from my coworker An employee who had previous experience with slates. ), etc. for those of us who are beginners as well as sighted readers who.
The braille slate is not only easy to use, but If I got a full-time job, it would be a great financial investment It is not cheap, considering the slate was sold separately and the stylus was also quite expensive. However, it seems to be a sturdy slate that would not break easily. If I were to use it all the time, perhaps I would get a larger slate. It's so nice to write a braille letter every now and then.
There are many features that make it really easy to use. I am sure it will last a long time as it is made of sturdy materials.
AWESOME set - I enjoyed it so much! It took me only minutes to punch out the documents I needed once I got used to it.
It's a great product, I'm glad to have bought one. A traditional agency would have required me to borrow a 2nd mortgage if I had purchased one from them.
As far as cell size goes, I am not certain When I was a child, I had learned braille, so it was a little different this time.
