Questions & Answers

A 55-inch could be used for a 55-inch. What is the best cane for someone that is 6'1?" would be the best course of action if I needed some help?

I am 6'3'', and so is my husband. It was from Max- that I ordered the round roller tip Aids is what he loves to do. It moves nimbly from side to side without much

A 55-inch could be used for a 55-inch. What is the best cane for someone that is 6'1?" would be the best course of action if I needed some help?

I cane my husband because he is 5'11" and uses a 55" According to him, someone who stands 6'1" might want an inch or two more. For measuring the right length, he told me to go from your sternum to the floor. This may be of some help to you.

Is it possible to buy the same roller ball tips that come with the Visionu A great feature of the tip is that it fits better in the pocket and is much narrower than the L?

Although it is more expensive, the carbon fiber Advantage Revolution cane has a more durable marshmallow tip and its carbon fiber makes it more durable. It is so much more supportive than aluminum that I'd never go back to it.

What kind of sensors are this cane equipped with? Does it alert the person to anything in front of them? When is the best time to use it?

The roller ball tip has no sensors, so there is no sensitivity.

This is very easy to use even when the pavement is uneven
5/5

The site I had gone to disappeared without warning or risk factors within the last year. In a shocking turn of events, I went to sleep one day and woke up legally blind the next. I had a stroke in my eyes that caused it. result I didn't prepare myself for losing my sight and I did not know what it was like to use a cane. In the beginning, I bought a starter cane to get used to walking with one. With this cane, you will find it easier to walk. A good amount of space is left in my bag after it's folded up. Fortunately, both the material and the design are Although I have never used a cane before, I am comfortable using one. This moves back in time very well, though, I love it The tip of the ball is going back and forth. Excellent. I would highly recommend it.

However, it is not a great value
4/5

As of the beginning of 2018, I was paying $12 per rolling ball tip. As a result of the purchase of two tips, I received two rolling tips, a fleeced carrying pouch, and the cane. It was not in the description that an additional tip and pouch would be included. –if only there were two minor problems with this cane, I would have given it a 5-star rating.
The bunggy cord is knotted at the end where the hook tip attaches, and if you pull it out to change the tip the cord will not go back in unless you use a screw driver to push the knot back into place. I split the cane apart and took the knot out of the handle side. After that, I tied some twine to both ends of the bunggy cord so I could pull it It took me a few minutes to reposition the knotted end to the handle side and pull the cord back out from . . . pulled the cord back through the cane and knotted it on the handle end.
. . . then knotted it again on I am now able to change the tip without any problems. The next step is to roll the Grease is applied to the inside of the bearing. The tips became so heavy that they didn't roll when used on the sidewalk due to this drag. It was necessary for me to soak them in paint thinner to dissolve Having no drag, they are now free to move around.

MOBILITY IS RESTORED! This cane is always in my husband's hand when he is in public as he is legally blind
5/5

It is easy for him to enjoy his walks now that the tip rolls and never gets caught. I bought another one so he doesn't have to carry it from vehicle to vehicle. It holds up well against sidewalks and asphalt, and he loves it so much he bought another one.

A step in the right direction, but not quite what we would like
4/5

It does not reflect nearly as much light as it should. Hence, I had to apply reflective sign tape to all of the segments so the cane could reflect well enough at night so that traffic would see it more readily. There's a problem with the elastic. The length is too short, and it is hard to wrap it around the whole In order to be able to loop the elastic around the cane to stow it, you should tie a knot about half way along the existing loop. In order to keep the cane from flipping out, I had to wrap a Velcro strip around the other end of the stowed cane. Besides the cane itself, this bag was also included with the cane. However, the velvet bag was very stinky. In the case that you cannot manage to use the elastic to stow the cane, I suppose you could use that bag by looping its draw strings through your belt. It is unknown whether or not the velvet surface of the bag can be washed without damaging it. Is there any way to get rid of the bad odor with fabric freshener? If you can't track the shipping progress, you may not be able to order. The package I received did not have a tracking number, even after it was The probe at the end of the cane has a larger diameter than what I am used to. I would like to be able to glide over sidewalk cracks without getting jabbed by the cane when it hits a crack, unlike my old cane, which had a It is to note that white canes are often characterized by a red end and a white Despite the fact that red is not as reflective at night, I have learned this lesson. When the lighting is dim, red appears gray, or almost black. For the probe end of the cane, I picked up some red and yellow reflective tape. It shows both the red and yellow in a much brighter fashion thanks to the reflective tape. On the rest of the cane, I painted it reflective white. As compared with the existing tape on the cane, the new reflective tape is like night and day. There is a cane available to suit your particular measurements, and I was happy to note it could be ordered accordingly. To pick the right cane size, if you do not know how to measure, measure either from the ground to the arm pit or from the ground to your chin, though you may find that one works better for you than the other.

I liked it for the price
3/5

The product was bought for a friend who is learning to use a cane, but I have experience myself using canes, so it can be evaluated from my perspective. As a bonus, a little carry bag and an extra tip come with the cane, but due to the length of the elastic cord, there isn't enough at the top to use an extra loop with which to hold it In fact, it never occurred to me to observe it more closely to see if there were more cords that could be pulled up from the top to accomplish this. There is a slight price difference between it and canes from well-known sources Not only do they feel that way, but also known sellers. The tips were not my cup of tea, but that is a matter of taste, and there are plenty of other options The design of this cane should allow the user to attach Ambutech tips if so desired, but such tips may not be compatible with.

The simplicity of it is nice
4/5

I enjoyed it and it was Those who are legally blind or blind and traveling with others or alone will love this device. It's pretty sturdy and efficient for me when I use it through public transportation, theme parks, and airports. The only down side is that sometimes it gets caught on things due to the larger tip. It is much better than other dishes that I've had!.

what it is supposed to do
3/5

It's not about the look or style, it's about how it feels and how easy it is to use. Because I don't use the plastic bag that comes with our newspaper anymore, I love the bag that the cane came My first cane was heavy and large, so it was very welcome to find a cane that is lightweight and much less expensive. There are differences between the two There are no problems with the broken or unfolded portions like my previous cane had. The cord handle sometimes snags on it, causing it to feel awkward and unnatural. As the inner cords are used, I hope they will stretch a bit.

The price was good and the quality was good

This was a gift for a patient at the nursing home I work in. Despite the fact that she can't see the handle, she liked the fact that it had a blue handle.
