Questions & Answers

Has this got an attached clip so it can be used with a ?

The answer is no. Maybe there is a clip that can be attached to the handle because it has a round hole. This is a very useful

If I buy a replacement piece for the gold plastic piece at the pick-up, can I - Is it up or down? There were three of these plastic pieces in my order, but all three are missing. ?

A piece of wood the same size and shape as the plastic piece is screwed into place rubber bands hold it in place. Finally, here's the last selection - Even though it opened all the way, my purchase didn't close all Despite the morning newspaper being available, it failed to pick up. There is a very poor quality to their products. My last two shipments of these have been defective. I have ordered them for years. *br>r Lurie

Does it have the ability to pick up many pounds?

This is what I usually use to get clothes like shoes, socks, pants, etc. I recently picked up about two pounds of shaving kit as well.

You should forget the magnet! WE NEED TO RETURN TO THE OLD DESIGN THAT HAD "BITE"
3/5

A very inferior product ), What idiot changed the design of the "teeth" that bite (or in this case do not The clamp is apparently no longer designed with the end of the clamp fitting into the end If the old design picked up dental floss off a carpet, it could still pick it up NEW DESIGN WILL NOT HELP PULL UP AND HOLD NEW DESIGN WILL NOT HELP PICK UP It seems that the bar was shaped this way to accommodate a magnet at the tip. There is really no need for a magnet in the tip of the bar, unless you are an auto mechanic. In the house, hardly anything is made of iron or a ferromagnet, so the magnet is 99+ percent useless when trying to pick something up. It again seems that the "teeth" or "jaws" of the device are pathetically ineffective.

A little tool that everyone can benefit from
4/5

The first time I bought it was after I had an injury, but I kept buying it because it had so many uses. I have to tap the claw portion once in a while to free it when it gets caught. The structure is durable but the claw portion gets caught occasionally. It's not a deal breaker. The four that I have at home and the one my daughter has in her car are both of this type. It's because I use them for many different purposes, which is why I have so many of them. To grab things that are out of my reach, I use one of these in the kitchen. It makes it so easy for me to pick up toys off the floor and put them in the toys box. I could do that by hand, but with this product I can do it so much faster. In the last one, I sort my teenage son's laundry. I'm not necessarily supposed to explain why I do I find them to be inexpensive enough to buy the set, and I am happy with them. A friend of mine's son has one that he uses to pick up things he drops in the car on the floor (which is pretty much always). If Toddler hits you with it while driving, or if this size is ideal for that purpose, I would not recommend it.

It is worthless
3/5

Despite the fact that it won't grab anything or pick it up, it seems to be pretty A tall shelf can cause things to fall off and on your head. If you grab something from there, it will fall on your head and break your Try to pick up a sock off the floor, and after several minutes your blood pressure will be up 40 points and the sock will still be on the floor. One fatal flaw of this device is that the pivoting arm does not close completely, leaving about 1/2 inch of space between it and the wall. Secondly, the gripping surfaces on the floor are very slick and tend to slide out of place. It belongs in the trash, so I threw it away.

I am dissatisfied
3/5

Strong magnets are built into the reacher and the magnetic field is very strong. The only good thing I can say about it is that. It doesn't close all the way so it can't pick up much because it can't pick up a lot. It seems like the mechanism was not calibrated right, there's a cord connecting the trigger and the grabber, and that cord wasn't tied off correctly, so no matter what I do, it doesn't close all the way. Each part of the grabber has a gap of about an inch. I cannot pick up pens or pencils with that gap, or anything thin like a cigarette lighter or any piece of paper. Even clothing gets difficult to grasp. If I pull on the string close to the trigger, I can get it to close all the way and use it, but it's a little inconvenient and awkward. Someone with moderate to severe arthritis or carpal tunnel wouldn't be able to use it this way. I have only purchased this one Reacher of this brand, so I can't comment on whether or not they are all calibrated this way. Others may work better as well so the reachers will close correctly.

Alternatively, I would give this a Zero/Zip since it is garbage in the most basic sense
3/5

No zero star is needed, or I would rate this zero or zero/zero, as it is garbage. Since it has a magnet on the bottom, it will only pick up a paper clip. A thin cord that it uses maintains tension is way too weak for any job and it is unable to keep any tension at all. Consequently, the notches on the pick up end do not align, so nothing is held in place and everything simply falls away and stays on the ground. The following items were attempted to be picked up by me The list goes on - a 12 x 12 dry washcloth, a piece of paper 8 x 111/2 inches, a pair of underpants (men's size 32, just washed) . . . It was inexpensive, but I don't think this is good quality. Had I looked earlier, I would have returned it, but I am past my 30 days and I am a week past my refund period. There is no way to adjust the cord or realign the pick up bar so I have a piece of aluminum which is very expensive. My suggestion is to buy any length grip and grab that is sold here on Amazon. GRAB simply spirals out of control when it comes to tension, the closes. You should avoid it at all costs.

Things have gone downhill in terms of quality
3/5

In our house, we have a number of grabbers like these. As I am not as flexible as I used to be, I need them. Although I did not create these in the same manner as my other illustrations. The last one I received had the string tied inside the black "claw" rather than through a separate loop, although they appear the same in the photo. In addition to this, the claw can slip from side to side, causing the item to fall. Both types of photos can be seen in the listing. In the photo with the yellow end, the good ones have the string attached to the inside of the black claw (the picture that shows the yellow end), and in the cheap ones it is tied through the black claw. In addition to those photos, there are others Although I love the grabbers on the whole, there was a difference in quality between the last one and the previous ones, so I did not purchase it again.

That's a reacher, what are you waiting for? As far as I can tell, it works
4/5

(Book, for example, can be lifted pretty heavy with it It can sometimes be challenging to get it inserted into the gripper, but once it's in the gripper it can lift) and it's useful. My car has one, too, because I can't bend over and I have one in the kitchen, the closet in my bedroom, the bathroom in the bathroom, my living room, our office and my craft room. 1) The Pincer kind is much better than the one with what looks like suction cups. It is.
