A Collection of Issues: The battery was broken when it arrived and had to be replaced. After 7 months, the joy stick stopped working. After 5 months, the wheel bolt broke. Unanswered phone calls, texts, and emails (blocked) This is the last time I'll buy from them! The second joy stick finally arrived, but it was defective- With a sudden acceleration, I slammed my knee into a wall. I sustained a deep cut from which I am still recovering. I WANT A FULL REFUND FROM AMAZON FOR THIS DANGEROUS PRODUCT!.
This chair is very comfortable for my husband, who was recently amputee. Since receiving it, he has used it everywhere. Variable speed, quick stick response, lightweight, and foldable for easy transport are all features of the chair, and he has never been happier since switching from a more well-known brand of chair, the Jazzy model J6, to this Rubicon. Thank you, Rubicon, for brightening up my husband's day. UPDATE. THE ELECTRONICS FAILED AFTER 9 MONTHS OF USE. WHEN IT TURNS ON, IT JUST BEEPS AS IF THE WHEELS ARE NOT ENGAGED, WHEN IN FACT THEY ARE. GETTING IN TOUCH WITH THE COMPANY RESULTED IN ZERO RESULTS, WHICH WAS GREAT UNTIL THIS ISSUE ON CHRISTMAS EVE OF ALL DAYS. ALREADY REPLACED WITH A VIVE MOBILITY, WHICH, WHILE LESS EXPENSIVE AND A LITTLE HEAVIER, WORKS MUCH BETTER. RUBICON IS THE LAST PLACE I'LL BUY FROM.
There is no such thing as genuine customer service - There is only one person who answers the phone or texts. It's impossible to follow the instructions in the instruction booklet. You must be a resident of the building. without any steps For a senior to leave, the chair is too heavy. When the chair is closed, it does not roll in the way that it is supposed to.

It's not exactly cozy. Even though my house is quite large, it is difficult to navigate around it. I couldn't get into the bathroom because it was locked. Too high of a seat. I wish I could trade it in for the red Rubicon, which sells for $999.
