It is very simple to fold- On the back of the chair, there is an easy-to-operate latch that you push and then push. If the seat cushion is taken out (which is a simple process), The chair folds very compactly (it's just velcro'd). The layout is excellent. It's easier to fold than our manual chairs!
The only difference is that the XL seat (the space between the armrests) is about 2" wider than the standard, providing more seating space.

I'm a single woman who had no idea what to look for in a wheelchair. Over the years that I have been confined to a wheel chair for various reasons, I have discovered that the previous chairs I purchased did not provide adequate flexibility, safety, or comfort, and that the portable Mobility Ranger D09S XL is by far the best. Because I spend nearly all of my time sitting in it, the importance of a well-designed chair is critical to me. It is something I strongly suggest. br>Jim Rooney is a well-known actor who has appeared in a number of films.
hemisphere hemisphere hemisphere hemisphere hemis is paralyzed This chair was not intended to replace his regular power chair, which is more maneuverable and has a tighter turning radius for indoor use. His regular chair, on the other hand, is quite heavy and will require a lift to transport. br>br>The Ranger has a sporty, light-weight appearance. Compared to the majority of power chairs, this chair is relatively light. It's strong enough to support his 250-pound weight and 6'4" frame. We bought this chair to take with us on our travels. It's small and easy to fold. I can easily load it into the back of my car, and we'll be on our way. The best part about the chair is that it can be loaded by my husband himself using a small boom in the back of his pickup truck and driven to the hardware store or wherever he wants. The chair's disadvantage is that it is less maneuverable than a traditional powerchair. On a long steep hill, the brakes don't respond well with his weight, so keep an eye on it. br>br>Overall, it's a great chair that folds and pivots up into most people's vehicles. It isn't particularly light, but it is manageable. This is something we'd get again. It's almost always in use, and it's a must-have for travelers.
After years of using various mobility scooters and canes to cope with my Fibromyalgia, the Porto Mobility Ranger D09S XL has changed my life. Prior to the Porto Ranger, I had a much larger Jazzy style mobility scooter, which was adequate but difficult to store and load into my Subaru Outback with two people. The larger Jazzy, on the other hand, would not fit in any of our other vehicles, limiting our travel options. The Porto Mobility Ranger D09S XL fits perfectly in my son's Subaru Crosstrek and our Subaru Legacy's trunk, which is incredibly convenient because it's out of sight, out of mind, and makes my mobility much more natural while we're out and about. When it comes to riding a Power scooter, you should be cautious. What's even better is that it only takes one person to lift and load it into a vehicle; it weighs about 50 pounds and has multiple handles for a firm lift. I was initially concerned that the XL's size would prevent it from fitting in my home or stores, but it is about the same size as a standard hospital wheelchair and has greatly improved my ability to get out and about. It was well worth the money to get my mobility back.
I needed something more than my three-wheel mobility scooter, so I bought the Porto Mobility Ranger DO9S XL folding power wheelchair. The chair arrived in excellent condition and was simple to unfold and assemble. The chair was exactly as described, and the instructions were simple to follow. I was hesitant to use a "joystick" because I had never done so before. What I discovered was that it was simple to use and gave me more steering control. On my other mobility scooters, I had always used a tiller. The "joystick" is extremely sensitive, but with a little practice, it becomes second nature. The ability to turn 360 degrees in a very small space was a pleasant surprise. br>Security was one of the main reasons I bought this folding power wheelchair. I am a 72-year-old man who has recovered from polio. I am 5' 7" tall and weigh 230 pounds. I'm still quite active, so my wife and I needed a folding wheelchair that we could easily load into our GMC Terrain or Honda Odyssey. It folds up easily and isn't too heavy to carry around. On gravel, dirt, grass, lawn, and, of course, sidewalks, this folding wheelchair is extremely stable. This folding power wheelchair is incredibly comfortable, well-made, and easy to maneuver. It has a wide range of applications and has exceeded all of my expectations. Anyone looking for a well-made, high-quality folding power wheelchair should look into the Porto Mobility Ranger DO9S XL.
For shipping, the package was expertly wrapped! Excellent work! I'm impressed by the design and grateful for the extra mobility this wheelchair provides. My only criticism is that it is significantly heavier than I expected. It takes my wife and me to lift it out of the back of our car. I can't do it by myself, and she can't do it by herself. I really like the chair. Everything is top notch, including the speed and power. It's just that it's a little heavier than I had anticipated! I would strongly suggest it! Folding is easy!.
It's very easy and quick to get around in and it's very comfortable. I APPRECIATE THE INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM IT HAS PROVIDED ME WITH. WHEN I LOST A PART, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING. MIKE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. YOU ARE GOING TO BE EXTREMELY EXTREMELY E.
It's well-made, but it's a little claustropho Back pain, fanny pain, leg and foot pain are all common complaints. The controller has been placed in a fixed position. If you're in manual mode, you won't be able to move your chair. It's not a good idea to use it for an extended period of time.
