I'm paraplegic, so I ordered the chair to give me more mobility. I'll be able to get out more by zooming around the city. Getting into the chair from my manual is a bit of a challenge. Because maneuvering in small spaces in my house is difficult, but not impossible, I'd say it's mostly used outdoors. Some curbs are difficult to climb because the wheels turn sideways, trapping me. Approaching a curb from the side is preferable. It's convenient for me to be able to store things under the chair. I was concerned that the foot plate would not be large enough to keep my feet from falling off, but they thankfully do not. The chair's manual states that it moves at 5 mph, but the Amazon listing claims that it moves at 7 mph. I haven't been able to figure out how fast it moves. I'd like to go faster, but I know it's because I can't walk on my own that I'm impatient. If you have someone to help you fold the chair and transport it, it is simple. If I tried to put the chair in my car to drive, I doubt I would be able to lift it on my own. Battery life is good; you can zoom around for a long time without charging the battery. Setup was simple, but confusing because the instructions didn't say how to attach the battery. After some tinkering, I discovered that the cord is connected to the other battery for power. Delivery was quick, and the packaging was excellent. For a paraplegic who is confident in their upper-body strength and would like to use a power chair. This is a fantastic opportunity.

My 74-year-old wife can get it in and out of our SUV by using a piece of cardboard to slide it up and over the bumper, as suggested on YouTube. To fold the chair, simply unclip the holder at the back and push it down. We recently flew for the first time to see my 14-month-old grandson. The airline required that the batteries be removed before flying to San Jose. I mentioned other people's experiences, but it didn't matter because they removed the battery and a cable with no instructions on how to reconnect them. Whatever they did in San Jose was limited to a single battery. Regardless, we made our way through the terminal without incident, with the exception of one meter light that was turned off. Within minutes, Porto Mobility emailed us a photo of the proper connection. We visited a variety of locations in San Jose, including parks, open-air malls, and simply "walks. " The batteries were not removed before leaving on the same model plane. What a strange coincidence! So during that terminal and baggage claim we only used 3 lights, possibly 20 of the battery The chair itself is extremely quick and simple to maneuver. It easily navigates through grass, gravel, and dirt. It is possible to repair badly cracked sidewalks or pavement, but it must be done slowly and perpendicular to the crack. Find a way to go around it if it's really big. Keep yourself safe, have a good time, and get back to living. My grandson is the cutest thing you've ever seen! In the same way as his father.

It's a little rough. It doesn't react as well as my Hoveround MPV. It was difficult for both my wife and me to get into the back of my SUV, especially when attempting to move forward/backward and turn at the same time. Even when folded, it's difficult to handle. I figured it'd be less difficult. A handicap van with a ramp is now available. I can't even get it to go up the ramp or turn around once inside the van. Very let down. I believe the joystick is defective; is this covered by the manufacturer's warranty? I'm not sure how I'll be able to fix it.

The Quattro XL was purchased by me. I've only had the chair for a short time, but it's been great so far. Cornering is a little weak for me, but I'm a big guy, over 350 pounds, so I'm cutting myself some slack there. The only problem I've had is getting it in and out of my Ford Explorer, so I bought these (DMI Portable Wheelchair Ramp) to help with that. With the ramps, all I have to do is drive the chair into the back of my vehicle and fold it down as I reach the top. I simply take it out of drive mode and roll it down when I take it out. Going down requires only gravity. This review will be updated as needed.

This chair is incredibly simple to move around in. We've only had this chair for a month, but we're happy with it so far. It came fully assembled and folds easily for transport. This is a chair that I would recommend. It is difficult for an elderly person to lift on their own.

The unit's small size appeals to me. It folds up small enough to fit in the back of my Honda Accord. It is both comfortable and simple to use. I can get it into the back of the Honda by myself now that it's late. This chair has gotten a lot of positive feedback. The only thing I would change is having a key lock to secure the unit when I leave it in a public location.
