With a total capacity of 400 lb, you won't go over. The chair alone weighs about 50 lb, but with batteries and everything you stuff in a little bag underneath, the weight is closer to 60 lb. With a total capacity of 400 pounds, you won't go over. The most difficult part is getting it into the car. I find it easiest to lean it against the car on a blanket, pick up the rear wheels, and give it a little push, and it goes right in. If you do it that way, lifting that weight appears to be no problem at all, primarily because you aren't expending as much energy attempting to lift the total weight.
It's more of a cover than a case, to be honest. I fly mine without it, but I use 2 inch wide velcro to keep it closed while it's being handled. So far, I've made it through two plane rides unscathed.
The turning radius is 315 feet, and the chair width is 23 inches.
Hello, the chair has the ability to discharge both batteries at the same time, but it can also run on one battery. If you want to use one by one, you'll have to remove one of them. Thank you very much.

I'm a diabetic who suffers from ulcers on the bottoms of my feet on a regular basis. This wheelchair will enable me to visit places that I have previously avoided, such as the mall, flea markets, and amusement parks, to name a few. I am 6'1" tall and weigh around 320 pounds, and I have no trouble fitting into the wheelchair seat or getting in and out. The chair is simple to use and folds up exactly as it should. My Porto Mobility Ranger Wheelchair is perfect for me, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a portable wheelchair. br>Recent changes: 5/1/19 I was in Florida for business and had no trouble getting my Ranger through airport security and to the gate. At the gate, you must obtain a claim ticket. It was folded just before the plane entrance, they loaded it on board, and it was waiting for me at the plane exit when I arrived, ready to unfold, jump on, and ride up the gate exit. If you can fit all of your belongings in a large backpack as a carryon, it travels very well. When I was traveling through the airport, I simply strapped my backpack onto the back of the wheelchair, and wow, what an amazing experience.
We had a go-go scooter with front controls, but it hurt her back, and there was no ramp, so her caretaker had to pick her up and down at 98 pounds each time. hello black and blues on my legs. She's been depressed since her father died of cancer in November and her service dog died of cancer in January. I saw her for the first time today, happy and looking forward to leaving the house. I'm taking her on a business trip, and for the past few months she's been complaining about not being able to use her go-go scooter. Now that she has this, she asked me today, after trying it out and loving it, how many days until we leave. She used it in our front yard grass, and even with only three lights on the one battery, it moved well, and I was able to fold and unfold it easily. She expressed her desire to promote the chair and stated that she will tell everyone how much she enjoys it and how comfortable it is. I've had this wheelchair for almost three months and it continues to amaze me with the range of motion provided by the dual batteries. I've used it mostly inside, but I've also used it outside on grass, gravel, dirt, and sidewalks. It easily navigates all surfaces and maintains stability in tight turns at a reasonable speed. This is my fourth wheelchair, and it's easily my favorite for all-around use. It's also the best on uneven terrain or when going up steeper slopes than any public access wheelchair ramp I've seen. I'm 73 years old, 5'7" tall, and weigh around 150 pounds. Despite the fact that my strength is below average for my age and size, I was able to load this wheelchair into the cargo area of my Jeep Grand Cherokee by myself, though not without difficulty. When lifting into my vehicle, I find it much easier to manage if I remove the seat cushion and batteries first. My only criticism is that the seat cushion, while comfortable, is thick enough to reduce the compactness of the wheelchair when folded, but only slightly, and can be easily removed if desired during transport. I would definitely purchase this wheelchair again.
It's a miracle that this chair exists! It's fully equipped with everything she requires. She adored the chair's ability to rotate 360 degrees! In her apartment, she has plenty of room to move around, particularly in the kitchen. I took her to her nephew's wedding out of town last weekend. I had no trouble fitting the chair into the trunk of my small Mercedes c300! We charged the chair the night before, and she rode around all day on a single charge! The convenience of a long-range battery cannot be overstated! She was still energized at the end of the day. She commented on how comfortable the chair was. It's impressive that she can ride it all day and still feel comfortable, especially considering she's almost 240 pounds! She's looking forward to her Hawaii trip now that she has this chair! br>br>Thanks to customer service for calling to check in after the chair was delivered to see if everything was in working order!.
My mobility is severely restricted. After conducting extensive research, I decided on this chair. It was well-packaged when it arrived. With the exception of the joystick, it was completely assembled. It takes a little practice to master the controls, but it's also fairly quick and, most importantly, quiet. I was taken aback by the chair's weight. For some reason, I expected it to be a little lighter. But then again, I'm not exactly a featherweight, so it can't be too light. The chair's quality is commensurate with the price, and I LOVE MY NEW FLEXIBILITY!.
