Questions & Answers

I'm wondering if a seat that's 18 inches wide is enough for someone who weighs 170 pounds and stands 5 feet 8 inches tall. ?

Thank you so much for your interest in Drive Medical, Darren! This power chair has a 16"W x 16"D seat. To see if the chair will fit, take a measurement of the user's hips.

I'm trying to figure out what size seat to get if my wheel base is less than 26". ?

Hello Dave,br>Here are the Cirrus Powerbr>wheelchairs' dimensions. CPN16FBA (16" seat) 42. Model CPN16FBA (16" seat) 42. Model CPN18FBA (18" seat) 42.5" long and 24" wide. Model CPN20FBA (20" seat) 42.5" long and 26" wide. So, it's 5" long by 28" wide.br> In response to your question, the 16" seat is slightly smaller than the 26" seat, while the 18" seat is exactly the same size. Please let me know if you have any additional questions that I might be able to answer. br>With sincere gratitude,br>George Callensbr>MediDri

I read the description and it said it was light, but I'm having trouble picking it up. Is this correct, and what exactly do you mean by light?

You should be able to move it easily after removing both batteries.

This is a nice chair
5/5

I have never owned a better power chair. I've been saying it for years: make them lighter, and they'll have more power, which means they'll last longer between charges. Because it's a rear-wheel drive vehicle, it can be jerky in tight spaces, so slow down. br>It's a collapsible chair that's great for transporting to another vehicle but still feels solid when you're sitting in it. br>It's a plus that you're comfortable.

Both advantages and disadvantages are discussed
5/5

For some, this is a fantastic power chair. br>br>Benefits: br>br> It has a lot of sturdiness to it. The engine is very quiet. Depending on how much you use it, a full charge can last up to two days. It's the only power chair I've come across with manual locks on the two large wheels; The fact that the arms are padded is a plus. It's unlikely that you'll be able to tip it over; It is quick and capable of covering long distances. br>br>Cons: It's difficult to adjust foot rests if you're over 5'6" tall and have long legs. It includes the two required batteries, each weighing 25 pounds. It isn't "lightweight" in the least. Unless you're a weightlifter, it's just not practical to fold it up for transportation. The large wheels are spaced too far apart to fit through some doorways. br>br>I chose this chair because I take public transportation and it's well-suited for buses.

It is very popular with my father
5/5

Cons: It was a little difficult to put together. The instructions are difficult to understand and do not provide enough information. The correct connection of the adapters was particularly difficult for me. You'll have to search beneath the seat for the fourth connector! Because the front wheels turn and it's difficult to control the direction, it takes some practice to get used to the toggle. Advantages: br>br> My father appreciates the freedom it provides him, as well as the fact that it is both comfortable and durable.

It's good, but the instructions aren't very clear
4/5

This was just delivered to us the other day. There was a scarcity of supporting evidence. We were able to put it all together and make it work. Three additional straps were left out of the equation. By studying the photos closely, I was able to deduce that two of the straps were for securing the batteries to the tray. I'm not sure what that one in the picture is for.

This is a fantastic chair
5/5

I've had power chairs that broke all the time and. This is a fantastic chair. I've had power chairs that always break, and I only get to use them once in a while. I've been using this chair for over a month now. It's made such a difference in my life, and because it can be used on grass, it's been a huge help to me when I'm dragging trash around. I can take it for a walk with my dog. Since I've had this chair, he's been getting a lot more exercise. I only wish I'd known about this brand earlier. My next task will be to find a car that I can drive in without having to remove the batteries. I'd never remove the batteries just to go for a drive. They are quite heavy, and I was fortunate to be able to get them in the first place; however, I would strongly recommend this chair.

The owner's manual is a complete waste of time
4/5

Installation and charging of batteries are not covered by the manual. To get started, type "drive. medical" into the search box. desk. On your tablet, type "com" in the address bar. br>Perhaps 5 stars after taking a stroll down the street in the chair.

However, I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the fact that A charging cable to connect the charger to a wall outlet was not included with the charger
4/5

During assembly, one of the two black straps that goes over the batteries for added support unraveled. Because of the extremely heavy duty Velcro, the threaded stitches broke, tore, and separated. The product arrived way ahead of schedule. It's a beautiful piece that's also very simple to put together.
