The scooter was delivered within a short period of time. It arrived in good condition. Even if it had been dropped from a helicopter, it would have caused no damage. The only issue I had was with the seat post assembly, as I dropped the concave washer while attempting to install the bold. It landed in the triangle section with the electric wires. To get the washer to release, I even flipped the scooter over on its side. I couldn't find one, so I had to contact the company for a replacement. I believe the bold should be a quarter inch longer to allow more room for the nut to be installed. Aside from that, I've been pleased with Buzzaround's product and customer service, as well as the mobile scooter distributor's.
This product is very popular with my mother, and it arrived promptly and in perfect condition. She manages to get around in it quite well.
Scoliosis and severe arthritis in my lower back have plagued me for the majority of my life. It was bearable until June 2020, when I developed endocarditis and had to spend 24 days in the hospital. My back became so bad that I couldn't walk without using a walker, and the EMS squad had to take me to the ER twice. The endocarditis was discovered in this manner. Since then, I've had two RFA procedures (both with minimal results) in an attempt to get back to where I was before. I can't even walk one block without being trashed for the rest of the day at the moment. My only criticism of the scooter is the weight of the main deck with tiller and front wheels, but this isn't a deal breaker for me. I bought this scooter for $1,835 from promedica, a local dealer of this brand. Because this dealer specializes in medical supplies, I was able to get a prescription from my doctor and avoid paying sales tax. I can also leave it in the trunk of my Malibu and only take the batteries in to charge them, despite the weight. I was told that I would need to purchase an additional charging dock, but when I got home, I discovered that the charger came with a cable that could be used for that purpose. I was able to save nearly $75 as a result of this. The retailer was unaware of the situation and stated that it was most likely something new Golden Technologies was doing. I looked into a lot of scooters and this one is by far the best in its class in terms of specifications. 5 mph, up to 18 miles on a single charge (rated for 200 pounds of weight), and very easy to disassemble and reassemble. It will be well worth your time and effort. It's a little bigger than some of the other brands, but that's to be expected given the higher specifications and weight capacity.
