Is there one or two armrest pads included with this?

There are two of them included.

Is there any padding on this arm rest?

It's padded, to be sure. The only issue I had was that they only sent me one armrest, despite the fact that the description stated that there would be a pair. I only require one, but I planned to keep the other as a backup. Just keep that in mind.

I know they're 14" long, but what's their width like?

1/2" wide across the top, measured diagonally.

Simple to swap out

This set was easily swapped out for the old padded armrests. They're a little longer than the original set, but there were enough screw/lock nuts in this set that finding a pair that matched the holes in the wheelchair arms was simple. br>br>It'll be interesting to see if the new set's extra length is beneficial. The length appears to improve comfort at first, but when entering or exiting the chair, people have a tendency to press down on the unsupported front of the arm rest. Because the attachment plates are plastic rather than metal, there is a risk that one of them will be broken by accident. Overall, it was a simple fix, and the pads are much more comfortable than the cracked and worn-out originals.

It's an exact replacement for the Invacare wheelchair armrest pad

It has the same appearance and installation as the worn pad it replaced. The wheelchair's wheel is a bit of a hindrance to the rear screw, so installation is simple. I recommend both the longer- and shorter-term options. as well as shorter- Phillips screwdrivers with a handle.

This arm rest was simple to install and replace the old broken Invacare arm rest, and unlike another supplier, I received two armrests with screws for each, which the other supplier did not provide.
