Although it might seem that this won't be enough, it proves to be surprisingly effective. For this device, I can imagine only one or two applications keeping a person from falling out of the chair, and restraint of patients who suffer from dementia or mental illness. The chair won't let you get up if you try leaning forward for too long. When I pulled with all my might, I was unable to escape.

The belt can't be buckled in the The buckle or connector is the wrong one

I received this today and it does not fasten since the opening/connection in the back has two female halves instead of a male and a female connector. An accompanying photo is attached. In order to use the connector, I would like to get the male half of it sent to me. It can't be returned since we need it right away, so until we can find a male buckle half, we are tying it instead of using the buckle.
