Over the last 3 months, I've purchased three lead-based products I ordered this on Amazon and the batteries were 3 years old and didn't charge. This must be an old one when it arrives?

It is not clear, but I think the batteries I got are at least 1 year old. The top has the "042814FH" printed on it, so I assume they were produced near the end of April 2014 and I got them about a year later. It will be used as a power source backup for my alarm system, so it must be charged fully and capable of supplying peaks of current It is not a performance issue to measure hours.

Under the same product number, there are two different types of batteries being sold. I am using the smaller one for my device. I was unable to use the battery I ordered through Amazon because it did not fit the device's battery compartment. The battery may have been fine, but I could not.

I would purchase it Napco Gemini P1632 alarm system is powered by this battery backup. Both this battery and the original one I purchased a few years ago work *Brought in good packaging with plastic covers for battery terminals to prevent damage to them during handling and shipping.
