With Velcro on either end, I could place these lower at the heels, beyond the calf muscles, or higher behind the legs depending on your preference. I think that's the difference between the two. It's hard for me to tell. I was not expecting them to work so well, but my purchase did.

He drags his feet on the floor while pushing his wheelchair because the foot rest is so small. We can see his leg dangling in the gap between the side rails and the foot rest. In this case, the straps are very useful. There is no place for him to drop his leg on the floor, no matter where he shifts his leg. A Velcro attachment holds strap on foot rest pretty well with a 1" strap making it easy to use. Strap is made of good quality material. There is just one thing I would like to see improved the length of the rest so that it could adjust better to the width of the foot rest. It is a product that I would recommend.
The intention was to be able to secure my legs to my rollator with these. There was no way to make that work. It would not have been possible to wrap the leg plus the chair leg with these. The intended use of the device was not tried. This is a substantial and strong item. It may not be suitable for use on the leg because they are stiff and will.
The velcro is completely ineffective at holding anything, it cannot even hold an apple.
As a result of my spasticity, my legs are unable to move independently. By using this strap, I can keep my feet in place.
This is a great pair of calf support socks that work great because they are a general fit, so measure your wheelchair calf size. Although they were a little small for me, I managed to make them work well for me. I have a wheelchair that measures 21 inches wide by 18 inches deep. 17 square inches are occupied by my calf area. That makes it 5" though, Idk how helpful that is.
That would have been awesome if I knew about them sooner. My mom has found it easier to push in the wheelchair thanks to the feet that rest on the bottom of it.
It is made up of Velcro- It's awful to be up. To make it attach tightly, I had to add new velcro.
Because of my brother's foot being on the ground no longer, I love it.
