Do you need to install anything?

As far as I remember, all that was required for the "installation" of the handle bars was to screw them into the frame and tighten them. There was no need for tools, and the handles that hold the handle bars in place have handles that allow them to be tightened by hand. Sturdy and stable, it's a good investment
4/5

There are some facts and tips I'd like to share for them. Sturdy and stable, it's a good investment. For those who are considering this unit, I can provide some facts and tips. This decorative piece, including all pieces, measures approximately 22 inches long from side to side. It is 5 inches long. This is narrow enough to roll into a bedroom but not into a bathroom at my house. In a bathroom without a door, the vehicle would roll right through, but a hinged door blocks the path to the bathroom door. There is about 12 inches of space between the backrest and the seat. It takes 16 inches for the uprights to be between each other. The maximum width of the space is 5 inches. If you're wider, you'll have a hard time fitting. I was able to hand tighten the handles at the desired height by hand, but a frail person would probably require assistance. * The usual recommendation for walking aids is that the handles should fit about the crease in your wrist. Since I am 5'9", I had to raise the handles to their highest stable position so that they were able to reach my wrist. I have the handles standing 36 inches off the ground. According to the specifications, they can go up to 37", but I wanted to be careful before going higher than that. You have six months left to go Even a footer with 37 inches of height might not be adequate. There is a 21" clearance from the floor to the seat There are no adjustable features. These 14-inch handles stand 14 inches high. At the handle height I am using, it's about five inches above the seat. You might find that good news if standing would be a challenge for you. In the event that you dislike high "armrests" while sitting, this may not be your cup of tea. These 7 are the most important. Wheels that have an inch diameter roll over minor obstacles fairly well, but you'll have to lift the unit sooner or later. I looked at the specs, and it stated that it weighed As a comparison, think of it as a couple of gallons of beverage, or a dozen cans of soda The cans should be sixteen ounces. When those are too heavy for you, it can also be too heavy for a rollator. You don't need to use the brakes. Someone with weak grip strength might find it difficult to use them. To temporarily slow down, you squeeze them as on a bike The break is locked with your hands so that you can let go once you've pushed them down. I had to think for a while before I figured out how to use the basket because the instructions don't describe it in any detail. What I instructed you to do Install the hooks from the front ("front" means you'd walk in that direction), with the hooks facing the back. Place the hooks where the hinge is located on the crossbar. Among the bottom ridges in the basket can be seen ridges. The crossbar in the forward position should rest on that. During seating position, the seat partially blocks it from above when positioned in the upright position. There is an opening in the back portion of the basket where the raised seat reaches down. You will have to take the basket off the rollator to fold it up. There are also one or two other things to remember on how to fold it. To begin with, the straps anchored to the crossbar can be very useful for starting to fold the article. A rollator cannot be folded into a folded position because there is no lock. Whenever I try to open it up, it is eager to do so The folded frame of my camera is held together with an 18-inch bungee cord. While the rollator is folded, there are no safety belts to keep the seat and backrest from moving. I am less concerned about this than I am with the frame opening up, but it would still be nice if the whole thing could be folded tightly. The folded frame does not hold up upright on its own in a folded position, even when a bungee cord is attached. If it fits in a trunk flat, it should be fine, but otherwise it would need to be propped up with something.

Folding it is also a problem, since raising it when it's folded is a big chore. Consider the case when you need to squeeze through a small space. Because you cannot just roll it through opened up, you fold it up to be able to push it through on the side. The odds are not in our favor. You can't roll it left or right, so you will be unable to do that with the rear wheels. Let's say you want to push or pull the rollator forward at the same time that The wheels won't rub against each other either, since the front and rear of the car are adjacent. You are probably stuck with lifting it since you would drag it more than roll.

A great walker to walk on any terrain Our second one is on the way! Walking made easy with the best walker! My mom got this for her birthday, but my dad stole it from her since his is SO much better! Made of lightweight steel instead of aluminum, making it far Stability is enhanced by the wheel size, which is bigger than most walkers
5/5

Compared with most walkers, this one is a bit narrower, so it fits through doors more easily. In order to operate the handbrakes, arthritis-suffering hands can easily use them. When necessary, they can be locked with a simple push to keep the walker from rolling. A seat could be held for a rest break in case a rest stop was needed right away however, there is no seat available Its unique feature makes it desirable on its own. When it comes to transporting it in a car, it is very easy to fold. The medical field has a number of walker designs out there, but I find this to be by far the best. My parents are very proud of them, and they use them every day. I highly recommend this product!.

All the wheels on my Drive Rollator are broken
3/5

I'm pleased to tell you that my mother's second Drive Rollator broke a wheel bearing this morning. A Rollator wheel broke the same way when it was first used. I brought a new one because I thought it must have been a fluke. It lasted less than two months with the second Rollator! The bearings break down, so there must be a problem with them. The price of a new walker is almost the same as that of four wheels. Rollators come in many different brands and styles, so I am looking around for another wheel manufacturer or brand.

The fact that we didn't receive detailed information before purchasing was very disappointing
3/5

This is what I do not like about it. Although it is described as being much heavier, it does not specify that it is more heavy-duty. The wheelchair that I purchased for my 86-year-old mother couldn't be lifted into and out of her car, despite her being independent. It is too heavy for her due to arthritis. Consequently, I had to pay $55 for To return it, you will have to pay $50. The donation will be forwarded to another charity and I will find another one. The fact that we didn't receive detailed information before purchasing was very disappointing.

It has so far impressed me
4/5

The post has been updated through October 31, 20. Although I still like the walker, I have changed my mind about it. As many others have mentioned, there is an issue regarding the seat. There was a snap in the seat! Seat snapped because I was 165 lbs and the seat has a 300 lb limit. I'm glad my husband was able to fix it with some $6 metal furniture braces. Ensure the screws are short so they do not poke your rear when seated (picture added). *********** Drive Medical needs to make sure this is addressed as a safety issue! The first day is only day one, so we'll see how it holds up over time. I am so far Invacare Rollator was too large for me so I bought this so I could have a smaller one. As a result of having this device, I am no longer limited by a too wide and bulky rollator to where I can go in our home. It is easy and minimal to assemble. Despite that, I am slightly disappointed with this assembly as I like the push-in height adjustment pins better than this style where a pin needs to be unscrewed and removed completely from handle to adjust There is an awkward angle at which the handles sit that I'm not used to. Neither have we. There are a few minor inconveniences, but they should not be I find it more cumbersome to transport because it does not stay closed like my Invacare did when folded. It's not a deal breaker, but a minor inconvenience nonetheless. A sturdy unit and a comfortable seat seem to be included. A walker with wheels is important. No one wants to be forced to use a walker, so why rave about it? However, it has a great impact on our lives and makes living Multiple Sclerosis and fatigue are common symptoms for me, so the seat is a great help! I am 5'4 and weigh 165 lbs I am attached a picture of my height and seat size.
