Although I have lifted the patient from the floor, it is still a bit challenging. Lift bar and hooks swing back close to the rear wheels and lift cylinder frame when the lift arm is lowered enough to get the lifting bar and hooks close to the floor/patient. Then you have to pull everything farther over the patient to get the lift arm in place to hook the straps on the sling to the lift arm. If the patient is standing the wrong way, their feet can get jammed under the lift's base frame, or if they are facing another direction, their heads can hit the lift's base. There is a way to deal with this problem. Just be sure to watch for it.
In short, yes. Putting someone in a wheelchair starts when you lift them off the floor. All you have to do is roll the patient onto a sling that can accommodate his weight. If your patient is reclining, you may find it useful to buy some straps to move them.

As the title states, there is nothing to add. I purchased the cylinder four months ago, on August 10, 2018. It has not worked since. There is a mission-critical lift currently hanging in the air, and I've sought help from the seller. Updates will follow as soon as I have been able to resolve this.
There is a lot of difficulty using this lift. In order to get my husband off the floor when he fell, I needed something I could use by myself. It is impossible for him to get up on his own. There is no way the bottom rail of our bed can fit under it. There is a lot of weight in this. There is insufficient height for it to lift. There is no swivel on it. It would be nice if it could be sent.
It will definitely save your life! I have updated A stroke of luck has resulted in the hydraulic pump having stopped working. So until the machine can be repaired or replaced, we will not be able to use it. It has only been three months since we installed the lift, and it is already malfunctioning. It is a miracle that this lift has been possible! Very easy to assemble, it took us 15 minutes to get it together. I love the way it works and how sturdy it is. Great product. A person can be easily lifted off the floor if they fall. The material is very sturdy. The device was able to handle 325 pounds easily and without any issues. As well as a sling or sit-to-stand buttock strap, you will also need a sit-to-stand belt.
It is easy to use and safe at the same time. It only poses a problem when it is moving on carpet. As far as the lift goes, I'm very satisfied with it and recommend.
I think it's a great product! I found it to be easy to use. This item is very supportive and can even be transported easily. After a death in the family, I had to carry this on a long trip in the back of a small truck. It folds down and is easily ready to use. There is no way I could live without it!.
