Quad Canes can be adjusted in most cases (if not all). They're cheap, so get four of them to make a set.
The entire tip of the cane. This is the third time I've used a cane tip!

After losing one of the tips on a Hugo quad cane only a few weeks after purchasing it, I decided to purchase these. The thing kept getting tangled up in vines, garden hoses, and other things in my yard, and it was eventually pulled off.
NOTE: Take some tape and wrap it around the tip of the cane as soon as you get it. Electrical tape in the color black is what I use. br>The inside diameter of these tips is larger than the ones on the Hugo, but I solved that problem by wrapping tape around the bare Hugo tips before attaching them, then wrapping more tape around the new tips and the cane. br>These tips have a metal interior on the bottom, which should increase durability (walker legs chew right through flimsy tips), and the extra weight near the ground helps the cane stand up like it should.
Quad walking canes have different size ends, according to reports. I measured my single walking cane and it measured a half-inch, so I ordered a half-inch, but it actually took a three-quarter-inch, so be careful when ordering this to get the right one that fits.
Purchase a different brand because some of the canes appeared to be defective and were difficult to put on. Some of the openings were irregular and narrow, making it impossible to fit the cane through them. To make it fit onto the cane, we melted it with a lighter. One would not continue flushed, and the others are already beginning to wear down unevenly. I wish I had returned them instead of trying to Jerry rig it to fit. My cane had lost a tip and the others were beginning to crack, so I was desperate.
For a variety of reasons, I use a quadcane, and finding cane tips is difficult, if not impossible. Unless I go to a medical store and order them, which can be costly, these are much less expensive, and while they don't seem to last as long as other brands, I believe this is due to the way I walk, as they do last longer than any other brand I've had before. br>This is a fantastic deal at a reasonable price.
These were purchased to replace a missing rubber foot on a dog barricade for a car. I used two of these caps on the bottom side of my barrier, and the feet provided enough grip that the barrier stayed in place on longer drives, even with two very large dogs. It appears to be in good working order. I'd recommend it if you need it for its primary purpose because it's well-built and has good grip.
Metal plates on the bottom make them extremely durable. They prevent the cane legs from working their way through the tips of the cane.
Service. I ordered this product in 2009 and it arrived in my mailbox before I knew it. Fabulous! br>I ordered it again in March and waited a longggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg Finally, I contacted the company and received a prompt response as well as excellent service. br>They had tried a new shipping service that proved to be a disaster. I wasn't the only one whose order had gone missing in the sky. They terminated the shipping service, which was fortunate for all of us. br>My order was reprocessed and shipped to me at no cost to me. I understand that the item's worth was not particularly high, but the principle remains the same. The company stood by their motto of complete satisfaction delivered on time. When you live in Hawaii, this is particularly important. br>We pay higher shipping costs because we live in paradise, but if our orders do not arrive in our mailboxes, ordering online becomes prohibitively expensive. br>The cane tips only last about 6 months, but I believe my devotion to this company will last a lifetime. Mahalo!.
After nerve damage caused me to lose my balance, I converted my old hiking/walking stick into a cane. Because of the image, I preferred a stick to a cane. The wall of the walking stick is very thin. 56" dia. tube. I was afraid it would sever the tip and cause damage. To protect the rubber, the tip has a steel washer built into the bottom of the hole. It's a perfect match. It all fits into a 21-inch diameter sphere. I can fit it in my carry-on because it's 5' in length.
