There were two of these foam cane handles in my shopping cart. The first one was ruined by me. It was easy for me to make this mistake The water in my hand didn't move as I was sliding the handle on, and it got stuck half way. My fingers were bleeding so I cut off the end of the rope. I was able to successfully install my second computer. By the way I used the liquid dish detergent and water method to get it on the cane, and it worked perfectly. For the last 3 years, I have had to replace this type of foam grip once or twice a year (they all split in that spot), so I am curious to see how long and how well this one will last.
