For about two years, I had a pair of them. They're great, but the padding is starting to wear out. I don't have the shipping box anymore, so how do I contact Crutcheze? Will a new pair of shoes be able to be worn over the ones I already have?
Because the pad is about 1/2" thick, it will increase the diameter by about an inch. I hope this has been of assistance.
While placed over the plastic molded grips, they do rotate slightly with use. Because I used both foam inserts in the crutcheze, the fit was a little tight for me. It should be easier to put on if you don't use the plastic grips, but they may move more with use. Duct tape or additional foam padding can be used to tighten the fit of the aluminum tubing. Mine slid perfectly over the walker's handles. I'm not sure how wide it is. The main benefit for me was that they made using the walker much easier, as the walker's hard plastic handles were extremely uncomfortable. This was ideal.

If you're just using a walker to get around, these should suffice. I was non-weight bearing and had to hop forward by putting all of my weight on my hands; I was thrilled to find these because I had been wrapping fuzzy socks around the handles to cushion them. But, as you can see in the photo, these pads only lasted about a week and a half before the cushioning simply gave out. I tried turning the pad around or adjusting the product several times a day, but I ended up wearing my fuzzy socks again.
For a few weeks, I was able to walk with the help of a walker. I was having a lot of pain in my hands while trying to use the walker, which was made worse by the fact that I have rheumatoid arthritis. I ordered the Crutcheze Walker pads after researching several different brands online, and I only wish I had done so four weeks ago. My hand pain has virtually disappeared in less than a week of using the Crutcheze, making getting around with the walker so much easier. I'll also put them on my crutches, which I'm just getting used to, and will most likely order a second pair. These are some of the finest The well-made pads fit snugly without slipping and can be installed in a matter of seconds. I did use the additional pad that came with the purchase. The Crutcheze pads are well worth the investment. It comes highly recommended!.
Due to an unexpected health issue, I've had to rely on a walker for all of my movements. I also have osteoarthritis in both hands and have undergone a number of surgeries and injections to alleviate the pain. You can use two different layers of foam that come with the product: The one on the left is a little more firm than the one on the right. So I tried both of them together at first and found them to be too difficult and uncomfortable, so I emailed the company and received a prompt response. Chris promptly sent me a softer foam, which has provided more relief; it is not as soft as I would like or prefer, but I am completely satisfied with this product; my correspondence with Chris and Crutheze has been fantastic. I only wish that more companies, like Crutcheze, prioritize customer satisfaction. I was also given the option of selecting a color, and I went with purple, which gives my walker a unique look. br>br>This product and company come highly recommended by me.
Don't let the pictures fool you- It is suitable for the majority of walkers. My mother complained that pushing her walker around hurt her hands. She was so depressed that she didn't want to leave the house. After doing some research, I came across this on Amazon. Why not, I reasoned. What have I got to lose? I was concerned because none of the walkers in the photographs resembled Mom's. The adjustable straps and velcro, on the other hand, made installation a breeze, and I honestly don't know of any walker that this wouldn't fit. Mom is enthralled by it and wishes to take it with her wherever she goes! One thing they don't mention is that it comes with an extra foam pad for each arm! Just in case, I bought a second one. The colors are also a hit with Mom. I'd suggest it.
These were purchased to help cushion the grips of a walker after I was involved in an accident and am currently reliant on one. These are well-made and arrived quickly, but they don't provide much assistance. The padding is extremely thin. These must be redesigned with significantly more padding or a thicker material. Make sure you don't throw your money away!.
I broke my leg recently, underwent surgery, and awoke with a massive plaster cast on my leg. "No bearing weight for 6 weeks," the doctor advised. I was afraid of losing my balance and having to use my broken leg to stop a real fall if I used crutches. My husband bought me a walker to use until I was given the "all clear" to bear weight on my leg. The standard walker handle covers felt like my hands were crippled with pain after only a few days. I was crying in my eyes after a week of using it. As a result, I started looking for walker handle covers. not padded in any way I was fortunate enough to come across the Crutcheze Walker Padded Handed Grip Covers! They're fantastic. They simply velcro on top of the existing covers and remain in place without moving. They're very well cushioned. These have saved my hands by not being too bulky in my hand and just enough to pad the bar while you're holding on for dear life. I returned to get the crutch pads as well, so I'm ready for the next stage of my recovery.
These hand grips are poorly made, with a nylon type sewing threat that is difficult on the hands. They also sew on their logo with the same, which is even more irritating to your hands and visible all of the time. Another issue with these grips is that they don't stay in place on Nova Walkers. I've tried tightening them several times, but they rotate around so that their logo and the unpadded part of the grips are always up. This is extremely inconvenient and effectively renders these grips ineffective; I eventually removed their logo because the finish knots on the sewing were causing me pain. br>I'll make an effort to return these, but I strongly advise you to try a different brand.
