I didn't pay attention to what it was made of, but it looks and feels like a light backpack material to me. It's a long-lasting material that's also simple to keep clean. It's the ideal size for carrying a phone and a coffee cup on the go.
There are four different straps to choose from: Each corner has one. The straps are velcro-attached and wrap around the crutch legs. Moving around is simple. It really works.
If it's just a single pole, I'm not convinced. You'll need something to Velcro around the middle of your underarm crutch, like the midsection of a regular crutch.
Although I didn't use it for one, I assume it will because it measures 8x81/2 inches. This is a very useful item.

I started looking for things like this as soon as I got on crutches! It's made the past few weeks a lot less difficult. At work, I get a lot of questions about it, and people ask if I made it. This isn't a vinyl bag; it's made of nylon. It is extremely long-lasting and well-made. I can now easily transport a travel mug of coffee or a bottle of water from the kitchen to my desk. It doesn't bulk up the crutch at all, but whatever you put in it will. But it stayed in place even with a 16-ounce travel mug, and it didn't make it difficult to move around or get in the way. It would be nice if there was a way to close the top, but I found that a small binder clip worked just fine. br>br>I have a smaller style that I use on the other crutch and it holds my wallet, cell phone, and keys. However, it would never hold anything larger, such as a book or magazine. br>br>Being on crutches is inconvenient, and anything you can do for yourself makes it a little easier to cope. I find that having the essentials in my purse at all times, as well as the ability to make my own coffee, makes me feel a little better about everything.
These bags are a godsend if you know you'll be using crutches for an extended period of time (in my case, about four months). You can't get around on crutches without a way to carry important items like your phone, pens, medicine, bottled water, and so on, and this bag is perfect for just about anything. The fabric is of good quality, similar to that found in tote bags and rain jackets. The outside patch pocket is ideal for carrying a cell phone because it is easily accessible and does not become buried among other items. Even with bottled water or other heavy items, the velcro straps keep it attached from top to bottom. Just keep an eye out for the weight difference on one crutch. I took away a star because of the price; I understand that you can't get much for $10 these days, but I believe the item is worth around $8.
By chance, I came across this bag. I'm surprised at how useful it is. I'll be able to put my keys and phone in there as well. It expands my capacity and frees up my hands to do other things. I use crutches because of a permanent disability, so it's incredible that someone thought of such a simple item that is so useful. Everything is a hassle when you are on crutches. It was a lot easier with this bag! The only thing I didn't like about it was how it was attached to the crutch and how it got in the way of the handle at times. Why not use a different type of velcro, such as quick ties? I would also suggest crutch bags made of neoprene, as they seem to hold their contents better. If you use crutches and go out, they will most likely slide down or fall down on a regular basis.
I tore my acl and am now confined to my home and using crutches for the first time; I am ecstatic that I came across this. I had no idea I'd need so many more hands! I can't wear proper pants (mostly because I can't get them on myself) because of my leg brace and injury. Having a pocket where I can put my phone, chap stick, meds, and a drink is a lifesaver. br>br>It isn't the prettiest fabric in the world, but it gets the job done, so I'll take it. It's held together by velcro straps that are strong and haven't ripped or separated. This is a well-made and useful product that I would enthusiastically recommend.
I can now go into a store and pack a few items in this thing so that I don't need anyone else to carry my coffee, water, soda, and other $10 items. 50 is a great price, and because I have Amazon Prime, it arrived in two days. It's impossible to dislike Amazon. For essentially the same thing, the others on here were charging between $20 and $35! I don't need anything fancy like a flower pattern or anything, just plain black will suffice. I just placed an order for a second ableware crutch bag for the other crutch.
