That is not the case. The holders have been crucial for us and we have had to customize the holders to fit our patients' needs. The only good one I could find online is not the one I want

Can you tell me how big the mouth piece is? Do you think it would be too big for a five-year-old ?

This plastic mouthpiece is designed to fit adults rather than small children, and a child of around five may find it too large

Slipcovers should be made of silicone! I initially wanted to return this mouth stick, but I still had some silicone sleeves from another mouth stick that fit well and keep on better than those on the previous Because it has lighter weight and more responsive stylus tips, this product moves up from a three to five star rating. want to emphasize, however, that you will need to buy the slip on silicone mouthpiece covers that are available on another site after I posted the previous rather complimentary rating of this mouth stick I have used it for another 10 days and the mouthpiece has started coming disconnected at the joints. Because of this, it has no value. This is pointless! It is unusable. It continues to disappoint. Save your money. I have got some use out of it until my new one arrives after I wired it together at the joint that kept falling apart. I spent an additional 70 dollars on it, and I hope it will be better than before!.
