Since it was listed under utensils, I bought it for my disabled daughter
5/5

She uses it for her spoon and she can hold it easier and more comfortably since it's soft. You also can use it for pencils and other items that may.

Any person with arthritis or tremors needs to have this book
4/5

Control over the tool I'm using has been greatly improved. It is a great tool to have these sponge pencil tool helpers. My favorite knife is this one. I feel more secure with it. The slipper does not.

Hands with arthritis will benefit from this product
5/5

Buying these for my mother who has arthritis and has difficulty gripping small items was a great idea. She has been able to use colored pencils once again because of these. My feet felt comfortable even after prolonged use.

I love that it's so versatile and allows me to be creative and independent
5/5

I am a multiple sclerosis patient who is an artist. Every now and then, my hands get funky and feel numb. It makes it difficult or impossible to use them. It is difficult for me to use pens, pencils, and paint brushes on the days that I am having trouble holding them. In the past I have got by with the big foam grips that come in a long tube you can cut down to the size you need, or just using the basic pencil grips that are made for kids and are available in any office supply or school supply retailer. The above work for me, but I have had issues with each of them in the past. There are too many issues with them, such as from shape to size, one of them being too squishy, one of them feeling too firm, and others. However, the Special Supplies Long Foam Pencil Grips have a whole new texture. In my hand, as I hold a pen, pencil, or paintbrush, they feel nice in the manner I would normally hold a pen or pencil. There are some brushes that it won't fit, but there are enough to fill up my collection so I can get some with different types of bristles, such as round, flat, and filbert, so I have various variations to choose from. The majority of my drawing pencils as well as some of my drawing pens fit perfectly. I cannot do my art when I have MS hand syndrome, but this is exactly what I need during those FUNKY In addition to holding my toothbrush, it's also great for holding a few flatware pieces with thin handles that fit in the foam grips I already have and also into these, so it makes eating meals more convenient. It's great to find things to make my daily life easier when I have MS, but it's a pain to deal with. For me, finding these Special Supplies Long Foam Pencil Grips is a real joy. Even though they may seem simple, they have proven to be very useful. An artist whose hands are gradually failing and something helps him or her draw and paint easier for a longer period of time is what we call a big, happy, joyful, joyous event. The ability to hold utensils, which allows me to feed myself, and a toothbrush that allows me to brush my teeth myself gives me more freedom and independence over having my caretaker do both tasks There are some things I prefer to do myself until I'm no longer able to. Having the ability to draw, paint, eat, and brush my teeth is a joy to me. My extra level of independence is one of the things I love most about my life. I do need assistance with a lot of things, so it's nice to be able to find the right assistive products that allow me to accomplish some things on my own. You can't find more valuable a find than Special Supplies Long Foam Pencil Grips. I'm so excited!.

A big & handy tool
4/5

The pain of carpal tunnel is severe and I suffer from pinched nerves Rather than throw away what I use most often, I thought I would put them on my pens and pencils. The fact that they are massive is what I did not expect. they are placed on a pen, they would nearly fill In order to get the pen out, I have to push a pencil or something similar in, but if I push too hard, I have to do the same thing all over again to get the pencil out because it becomes The solution to this is to cut these in half so they are not It was an eureka moment for me when I realized it was just what I needed On my farm, I use the buckets for a wide variety of things, from light (saving plant matter for the seed) to heavy (hauling water or feed). As soon as I ordered the bucket grips, they all broke (the part that holds them on the handle I had to then use duct tape to fix it). One of these was cut lengthwise so I could place it on the handle (see picture). The device was still attached, but I didn't want to risk it falling off while I was using it, so I put some duct tape around it to keep it secure (see picture). It's amazing how fast it works. I don't know how long it'll last, but my god! $1 would be a reasonable price. I'm very glad to have found these, because they were a lot cheaper than the thick rubber handle grips (they were about $5 per piece). Think about it this way, if you have hand problems, you might end up being grateful that you decided to purchase It is totally possible to put them to good use & use them to your advantage During the process, your hands will be of assistance. They are a bit misleading in the pictures though, so I took off a star for that. If you want to use these for pens/pencils, you can cut them in half like I have done for some of them, so that you get twice as many.

Grips for pencils that are specially designed
5/5

I have been trying to teach my son to hold a pencil for as long as he can for years - he is on the autism spectrum - The least amount of time would be Despite a combination of sensory processing problems, poor motor skills, and a lack of motivation, he just can't do it. Most pencil grips are much smaller, and they are also usually made out of a hard rubber - thus, these Special Supplies Grips are a nice contraption. They are not intended for people with disabilities. Rather, they are meant for older children who are learning how to hold a pencil properly. Compared to traditional pencil grips, these are the best option if you or your child haven't had success with them. Soft foam, large, and colorful, these Special Supplies grips are incredibly comfortable and teach good grip to users because they provide support and comfort as well as a sense of security. Since they are large enough, they can be used on pencils, markers (my son prefers to use sharpies over pencils) and This product is designed for use in the home and in therapy, they're high quality foam and they can't tear easily, however, if you/your child chews, this might become your child's next favorite and I wonder if the foam shreds as it does. I would have that concern if I were to use them. The company is pleased to have you, Special Supplies, in a market that is under catered to, and we think you provide great options for those with unique needs.
