Control over the tool I'm using has been greatly improved. It is a great tool to have these sponge pencil tool helpers. My favorite knife is this one. I feel more secure with it. The slipper does not.

I am a multiple sclerosis patient who is an artist. Every now and then, my hands get funky and feel numb. It makes it difficult or impossible to use them. It is difficult for me to use pens, pencils, and paint brushes on the days that I am having trouble holding them. In the past I have got by with the big foam grips that come in a long tube you can cut down to the size you need, or just using the basic pencil grips that are made for kids and are available in any office supply or school supply retailer. There are too many issues with them, such as from shape to size, one of them being too squishy, one of them feeling too firm, and others. As soon as I ordered the bucket grips, they all broke (the part that holds them on the handle I had to then use duct tape to fix it). One of these was cut lengthwise so I could place it on the handle (see picture).
