The MS has affected my right hand, causing me to lose the ability to grip things. A) the shower knob that has caused me a lot of trouble in the past. There was no way to swap out the acrylic handles, so it's been a real pain to take a shower, and a plumber's visit was out of the question. There wasn't a simple solution to my shower problem until I received this gripper! The handle for the shower is bigger than those used by a basin faucet, but smaller than the knob for just the shower. I had no expectation of finding a simple solution to the problem. The gripper is a tight fit over the knob and provides perfect gripping. Actually, I'll get one for the hot water handle as well as I like them so much. There are two 1/4 inch knobs across and taper down at the base of ours. Make sure the measurement is accurate. Things are a bit stretched here and there, but not by Thanks for the inexpensive fix. I'm very happy with it. We were happy with the service we received, so the transaction went smoothly.
A device that helps my mom with rheumatoid arthritis turn the door knob was a necessity to facilitate her entry and exit. This is why I purchased the Doorknob Gripper and am going to see if it works. In my opinion, it worked perfectly it easily slips over the knob and its construction produces just the right amount of gripping force as to allow for easy steering. I am very happy as well as my mother. In my opinion, this is an excellent.
I have had trouble with door knobs in my studio for quite some time. Is this where they have all been? It was a little difficult getting a grip on them due to their slippery nature. Some of the time I was unable to even turn these locks and had to disassemble the locks. I was just about to replace 2 heavy duty door sets when I remembered this website. The problem was immediately solved. As a result of manual labor for most of my adult life, I have weakened grip strength. These might be a bit difficult to put on if you have arthritis. The knobs fit on a standard door knob very tightly, but you can stretch them out to make them fit. The reason I deducted a star is that the door knob on my front doors is considerably larger than standard, and it was really difficult to put There were times when I almost thought I would not be able to do it without assistance. Therefore, it is important to be aware you may require additional support. So far I like them. I am just ordering another set for the rest of the studio doors.
The pain from opening doors is excruciating because my hands are destroyed by rheumatoid arthritis. What an amazing piece of equipment this is. It works so well for its very low price. Perfectly fits my hand, is so soft, and is so gentle on my skin. It's one of my absolute favorites.
It is a simple product, but it works and achieves what it is intended It is great to see the grip enhancement. Mom liked the sculpted outer design, and it was not difficult to fit over the knob securely. The product lives up to its promise!.
As far as I am concerned, it does what I wanted To assist with the door knob, you could offer a grip If you're hoping for a glow in the dark door knob, then you'd be wrong this does NOT glow in the dark. You need to protect your hands from the sun's excessive heat when shining directly on the knob when opening the door. So far, I have not had it for very long, nor have I had it through a summer season, so we shall see if it can stand the changes in the weather without crumbling due to the rubber product.
They are slippery and a bit difficult to grab onto. It's almost as if they were installed upside down due to their width at the back. In any case, were trying a different brand of grips, and they kept sliding There is no movement on these! You get a feel of non-porous texture from them Grab the doorknob with a slippy grip. One has been installed for about two weeks now and has not This is a great product for anyone who has difficulty with doorknobs, whether it's an elderly person, someone with carpal tunnel, or someone with an oddly shaped doorknob!.
The latches on doorknobs, especially slick doorknobs, are proving to be difficult for me to grip effectively because of my arthritis in the basal joints. Since installing the grippers, I have not been aware that this item was present. It was attached quite easily and I have not noticed its existence beyond that. This item is a very useful, helpful item to have if you suffer from arthritis pain in the hands. I am now able to open the pantry door without pain, and with very little effort. I was delighted to find such an efficient solution!.
