It is wonderful and I highly recommend this product as a mechanic and outdoor enthusiast living in South Carolina during the hot and humid summers. I have worn hearing aids for more than 20 years. Due to my active lifestyle, my hearing aids sometimes short out due to the amount of wear and tear I put on them. In the beginning, our audiologist gave us a similar product that didn't work well on the go. I had to remove the beads and place them in a microwave-safe container after taking it out of the glass jar. When I was in middle school, I lost beads and broke my first jar and I always had a hard time finding them. First time I had a dehumidifier, I placed it in microwave once a week in the same manner as it could be done but I left it in too long and damaged Place in microwave for 30 seconds once every week to keep it in top shape easy to maintain. A plastic jar with directions is attached to the lid. As described in the directions, you need to repeat this once a week and make sure you put the jar in the proper spot. You can buy this dehumidifier for a nominal price and decrease the amount of moisture in your hearing aids, thereby prolonging their life. The dehumidifier comes in a container filled with beads of desiccant and has a removable pod. If you are not wearing your hearing aids, simply place them in the jar. To revive the desiccant beads, you need to give the pod 30 seconds in the microwave when the beads turn green from red/amber. Before you have to microwave the pod after a couple of months, there is usually some gradual degradation. The product is great, and I highly recommend it.

Having just used it, this sounds like a good hearing aid dehumidifier. So far, I am pleased This has been with me for about a month now (maybe longer). Apparently, the battery will be drained faster than normal by the dehumidifier. It was these instructions that I followed instead of the instructions on the Siemens' dehumidifier which stated to open the battery doors. Over a period of two years, my hearing aids had collected moisture It was 3 months before I could hear as well as before. This was ordered to prevent moisture build up in the future as well as to help my audiologist. It has been a week since the aids were dehumidified in the office, and I noticed they are clearer now than when they were. I also thought the price was great. There is a $25 fee for my audiologist. For a similar type in their office, they charge $99 each.

The moisture in one of my hearing aids was identified as the source of crackling noises caused by swimming, so I ordered a Hearing Aid Dehumidifier and the moisture is now gone. In the night, I keep my hearing aids in the dehumidifier instead of the regular case they came with. Having moisture problems is a thing of the past.

My microwave is not very strong, but I still did not want to risk When it comes to working, I think it's pretty good In my experience, it seems to be fine for me. I put my hearing aids into it at night, and they seem to work fine. But then I haven't experienced problems without using.
