The yellow is back in full force and the rubber is like Do not flip the bead block over, just microwave it the same way you would if you put it in a jar. The batteries in mine still work after 3 years, and I recharge them every three months. So I guess when the batteries run out, one just buys a new dehumidifier -- The price is low, and you can get a great value from it for three or more years.

The item was purchased several years ago and is being replaced. In particular, it works well after I have spent the entire day on the water and after I have dried out my hearing aids. Mine become very noisy due to humidity, which is not a friend to hearing aids. In the STAY DRI Hearing Aid Dehumidifier overnight, the hearing aid's full, correct functionality is restored. The replacement is for what reason? According to the old container, you should heat it for one minute on high in a microwave. That causes the desiccant to become cooked.
I was told that the place where I bought my hearing aids wanted me to buy a plug-in light up buzzing UV disinfecting box for $50. one works much better and is much Plug or batteries are not present, there are no lights, and there is A pack of batteries, a brush for cleaning, and other accessories can also be stored in the inside compartment. It does not disinfect, but I keep my hearing aids clean so I don't think it's necessary to disinfect. As of yet, I have not "recharged" it, but the process appears to be simple Since the instructions are printed directly on the outside of the box, you won't have to save separate papers or boxes. Ensure it is kept tightly closed all the time, as this will enable it to work more efficiently and prevent it from having to be recharged too often.
This dehumidifier is made of a plastic container that is about the size of a pint glass. A little more than 5 inches. Two times the diameter of the outer diameter. A little more than 5 inches. There is also a basket full of silica gel beads for evaporating moisture. One volume is contained within one outer volume. A little more than 5 inches. A hearing aid holder that fits two BTEs in deep water. A yellow silica gel bead can be found in the sample During dry weather, this color turns orange during wet weather, it turns green. There is no way to tell how long it takes the silica gel to turn green, but the removable basket of silica gel can be regenerated in a microwave for 30 seconds, or in a 200F oven for one hour. Keychain holders hold 2 zinc air hearing aid batteries, or 2 new spares and the air protective cover, and can be used to store the hearing aid batteries after they have been removed for drying overnight.
It is absolutely different from the Super Dri Aid Hearing Aid Dehumidifier by Halo I think this one works well, Hen. I didn't have to recharge it when it arrived because it was ready to use. Having not used it for long enough to comment on recharging, I cannot comment. I have no doubt, however, that it will be a success based on other reviews. It seemed that the Dri Aid one needed to be recharged, but there was no way to do it with this one. Buy this product instead of going through the hassle of making your own. A pair of hearing aids of any size can be held in this case, which appears to be much larger than it actually is.
Fall has been rainy and cool. First one lasted about 5 years and did a fantastic job, this is my second one. Still works, but does not recharge as fast as before, and does not last as long between charges as before. The hearing aids I was thinking about getting are new, so I decided to buy a new dehumidifier as well. For old hearing aids that I still keep as a backup, I still use the old one. Exactly what I needed! This is a highly recommended read.
I have found that the STAY DRY Hearing Aid Dehumidifier works well and can be recharged easily. As I wish the jar were shorter, I took a star off. In addition to that, the way it's divided into compartments at the inside makes it difficult to placed the hearing aids "flat" so that they stay open when you move the case in order for them not to slip around when you do so. The hearing aid charger is a good price, helps keep my hearing aids working, and I'm buying a second one for downstairs!.
It keeps hearing aids dry, and my father says it is very effective at that. The desiccant disc was not dried out periodically by putting it in the microwave/oven. He did not follow the instructions. Several minutes after I had attempted this, the crystals had turned green, making sparks and jolting in the microwave, just like if you tried to microwave a metal object, but there was no metal visible. Perhaps if we had attempted it earlier, it would have worked. trying a couple times, I decided it would be safer to throw it out and buy him another.
It was recommended by my audiologist that I buy a dehumidifier, so after checking a few different products I settled on this. I was very pleased with the quality of the keychain battery holder and that it comes with it. As far as I am concerned, it should last for months considering it contains a fair amount of dessicant material. You can reuse it as soon as it has absorbed enough moisture to change color. Just microwave it for a few seconds and it will be There's plenty of room in the jar for any size hearing aid.
