It would be better if you exposed the capsule to the sun rather than heating it in the microwave. But this method will only work once, and the drying results will not be as good. I strongly recommend that you replace your hearing aid capsule when it turns from orange to white in order to protect the device.

This is fascinating. Despite the manufacturer not identifying the Phonak storage case for which it is designed, this fits the Phonak storage case. It is also silent with Phonak. The only product that fits the Marvel case is this one. Your aids will stay dry when kept in their special case thanks to this addition.
It was suggested that I purchase these by Amazon when I ordered the America Hears drying jar, and I thought that a backup would be helpful. They are almost half the diameter of the one that comes with the drying jar which I did not realize. Because I place my hearing aids in the capsule directly, a larger drying jar will not be of any use.
In Phonak's Audeo Marvel hearing aids (Phonak Audeo), they include the same capsules that they include in the charger. When I showed it to my audiologist, he said it was wonderful.
