There is only a very slight difference between a normal straw and this one. For Boba, I do not think it would be a good idea
It does not fit into our Starbucks reusable cups. I do not know what a hydroflas lid is.

The cups are quite well made and clever, but they cannot make a good seal so they 'buzz', which results in a mouthful of air every time you drink. All I wanted was to fall in love with Regular use lasted less than a month before they broke. The ones on the left and right have all broken up- These are simple snaps that adhere to the middle of the insert. Too bad because they work great with non-glued inserts. A third order of these was placed just now. Three for my home in CT, one for my daughter's place in FL and one for the place in our Florida vacation home. Since September 2020, I have been using the first package daily. I never had a problem with it breaking or failing. Although it takes a little learning to take apart and put back together, I did it quickly even though I am in my 70s. People who mentioned problems might not have them together correctly, based on what they said. It's hard to recommend highly enough how well they fit the bill.
