The outcome is highly dependent on how hard you work and the state of your cuticles; in my case, it was only partially effective; however, you may be able to make it work better for you. good luck
The cuticle and dead skin on the nail plate are treated with this product. It softens the cuticle, making it easier to scrape away with a cuticle pusher. I'm not sure if you should use it on damaged skin or if it will help you get rid of skin tags, but I doubt it. (Ps, if I have a skin tag, I tie a piece of tooth floss around it and leave it for a few days; without blood circulation, the skin tag will die and fall off.)

Selected User Reviews For Sally Hansen 30003424000 Instant Cuticle Remover, 1 Fluid Ounce
My cuticles and nails grow extremely quickly, and I have to trim them back once a week before I can do a manicure. The use of oils is ineffective. I end up bleeding no matter how careful I am because they are so dry. I had to leave it on each cuticle for a minute, then push the cuticle back and scrape the thin invisible cuticle off with an orange stick, then trim the excess. After that, I did as instructed and washed it off. There was no bleeding, so they turned out great. It's possible that you'll have to play around with the length of time it's left on. Expect to have a little extra trimming to do if you have thick, dry cuticles and hangnails like me. The excess is very soft and easily trims away. The finished product can be seen in the image.
When I run out, I will undoubtedly purchase more.
All I do is push my cuticles back with a metal tool. I use my nippers to cut them off when they're stubborn. They've been softened to make them easy to remove. This will be a regular in my manicure bag from now on!.
NO, putting this on for a few seconds will not magically dissolve your cuticles, as one YouTube video claimed. My cuticles did not dissolve and disappear even after scraping them off with a cuticle scraper. To get rid of my cuticles, I still have to use a cuticle cutter and a clipper. This product does nothing more than loosen the cuticles and make it easier for them to lift away from the nail.
Cuticle removal seemed like a good idea to me. I guess I made a mistake. My cuticles did not move after 15 seconds of wearing it. I applied it again and waited a full minute before scratching them off with the orange wood stick. It's almost as if the remover boosted the strength of my cuticles! I now soak my fingers for a minute in warm water, which softens them and makes them easier to push back. Additionally, it is less expensive.
I've learned a variety of techniques for making my nails look salon-ready thanks to Pinterest. This was one of the items I purchased to aid in the cleaning of my cuticles. With this and a cuticle pusher, I can create even more beautiful manicures at home. My only recommendation is that you do not push the cuticle pusher too far below your ridge when using this product, as this will cause your healthy cuticle to be pulled up. br>br>On a different note, I usually wear OPI and Essie nail polish, but I use Sally Hansel for my base coat and top coat (after experimenting with more expensive but ineffective options). This cuticle remover is now on my shopping list. It's good stuff, and I strongly suggest it.
DO NOT USE FOR MORE TIME THAN REQUIRED. It did an excellent job of removing some large calluses from my feet. I wouldn't leave your kids alone with this. A kitchen timer is an absolute must-have. Don't just wing it when it comes to the time; you could get a nasty acid burn if you do.
Wow! This product does exactly what it claims to do. I applied the product to my fingernail cuticles, waited about 15 seconds, and then pushed my cuticles back. I used soap and water to remove the product from my hands, then dried them. After that, I pushed my cuticles back. My natural nails are in fantastic condition. My nails have such a smooth and lustrous finish. My cuticles improved (especially on the one thumb where I had previously attempted but failed to remove my cuticle from my nail). I was blown away by how well this product performed. My expectations were more than met! This is a product that I will definitely use again and recommend to others.
