The stockings were prescribed because I started getting varicose veins in my knee area and wore them for 3 weeks strictly. The varicose around my knee has not gotten worse, but because they are so tight in the thigh area, I have developed new varicose veins at the very top of my inner leg. I sized up as I was in between sizes and it was recommended to do so by their sizing chart. A strap cannot be pulled too high because it will cause nasty bruises if it rolls down. I am also 5'10" tall, and Five) They tended to bunch at the knee and since that's my trouble area, I spent the rest of the day pulling them up or down to stop them bunching and detracting from their effectiveness. Using compression leggings instead will prevent you from getting even more varicose veins.
This time I bought two pairs of these because they are such a great deal. This black and white stocking helped me reduce swelling and fatigue caused by lymphedema in my legs. Previously I had been paying three times as much for a single pair of shoes from a top brand. Those days are over! I have fallen in love with these. Those people save me a lot of money. I have used them and they work!.
The sizing chart removes any doubt as to what size to order. You'll have the perfect fit if you get a tape measure, use the sizing chart, and get a true fit. The other stockings I bought were the wrong size (I wasn't sure I should get the right size). made from very good quality nylon/Spandex, so they will hold up very well they shouldn't stretch out over time. It was difficult for me to stop them from sliding down to my knees at first. You don't have to worry about the silicone band slipping because you put it high over your hamstring!.
It seems they are a bit long since I am 5'4" and the medium size according to the size chart. Behind my knees, I kept getting folds of material. On one leg, the feet kept sliding all Since I am a teacher and rarely sit during the day, I rarely have time to relax. In the end, the right leg would not remain up at all, and I had to take off the stockings. Although I liked the actual compression and thought they would have worked if they had remained up, I thought they would have failed. My shoe size was too big for me and I never thought I'd need I have worn compression stockings before, and they are as tight as they always were. In the packaging, it is recommended to contact the company with any concerns rather than leaving a negative Although it was not listed on their website or anywhere else online either, I could not find them. Thank you for your understanding,.
Good for the price. I paid $100 at MD office for some that are a bit softer and stay up a little I like the fact that they do the job and are more pocket-friendly!.
You should measure well and use the sizing guidelines when selecting a size. Our size was one size larger than what was necessary to get a good fit. It's not the fault of the product. It's just that we measured it poorly. The compression of these helps reduce swelling at the knee from the first wear if you are purchasing them after knee surgery since the compression is consistent throughout so you will feel some compression there as well but not necessarily painful. They have relieved swelling at the knee since the first My wife had a full knee replacement surgery, and we bought the stockings to aid in reducing swelling. When asked about the wearing of them, she said that they made her feel more secure and confident while moving, and she has worn them throughout the home physical therapy program.
This may have been due to user error or the fit of the brand, or even a large difference in body type, but these didn't last for very long. My last resort was to use skintac to adhere the tops, but that too ripped off eventually. My tops kept rolling, and after about five hours I had bruises all the way around both legs from where they rolled. My upper thighs are thicker than average, so maybe someone else will be able to pull it off.
Since I will be having surgery on my right leg next week, I will need to wear compression hose for several weeks. You offer a good product that is affordable, comfortable and of high I am very pleased with their timely arrival and high quality. I highly recommend these compression hoses to anyone who needs them!.
