The sensitivity of this device is very high. A few days after 7 days postpartum, I noticed a faint line so I took 2 more pregmate tests to confirm (the faint lines were the same). I had an hcg level of 5 1 hour after I did my blood work. My hcg level was 18 at 9 days postpartum. My line was progressively darker when I tested 9 days postpartum. My LH strips kept returning negative because I kept receiving negative results at first, but these were accurate in the end. After my app told me I should ovulate 4 days ago, I have just done so. You'll need to take pictures of your test strips using the Premom app. There is no way to screw this up. My hcg test revealed that I ovulated 4 days late after the strips showed I ovulated 4 days late. This will allow us to pinpoint the exact month and day we conceived our precious baby. This was the most accurate set of strips I've ever seen. A good 25 dollars' worth of value.
It used to be my opinion that First Response was the most reliable and accurate test, especially when testing early in the game. There is no doubt that that is not the case anymore. In these tests, I managed to get a faint, positive pregnancy result the day before I missed my period. What is the moral to this I've run three First Response tests (one from a box purchased a few months ago and two from one purchased this week), and they all came up negative and three different brands (including these) all showed a positive result, so get rid of First Response. It's no longer the same type of quality test it used to be. It won't be difficult to do the job with these cheapies. In case anyone reading this wonders why I pee on so many sticks I'm a little sentimental. Do I seem a little out of my mind? I think so. I would definitely recommend it. Despite my PCOS, I got pregnant last August after recently regulating my cycle. I had no idea it would be that easy.
