Yes! My husband is a big spoon and I sleep on the side. He is completely oblivious to the fact that it is attached to my arm.

Since May of 2020, I've been using my Tempdrop, and here are my observations: Likes: br>br>Likes: br>br>Likes: br>br>L
- It is extremely useful- It's convenient that I can turn it on during my normal bedtime routine and turn it off the next morning as part of my morning routine, making it simple to use.
- I don't have to get up every morning to check the temperature, nor do I have to worry about the temperature being off if I get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom.
- It's convenient that the algorithm adjusts the temperatures over several days, so you don't have to worry about major outliers for whatever reason. dislikes: br>br>dislikes: br>br>dislikes: br>br>d
- I despise syncing. Every morning, it takes me several tries to sync (despite having read countless tips on how to make it work), and I'm afraid that if I breathe on it incorrectly, it won't work.
- I'm not a fan of the frame/band-- The device keeps popping out of the frame, and the band isn't very comfortable. Because I don't wear bras to bed, the sports-type bras aren't an option for me. For me, the bra option isn't ideal.
- I wish I could automatically sync or import the data to my preferred app; I know the Read Your Body app is on the way, but having to sync it and then manually enter the data into another app has been extremely inconvenient in the meantime. ********Edited as of May 2021: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> I'm bumping up my original rating by a star because of the following changes made in the last year that have improved my experience with this product:br>br>- Last year, the Read Your Body app was released, making it simple to import temps directly into a tracking app with a variety of customization options. The app does require a membership fee (it is not a Tempdrop app), but I believe it is only $14. It costs 99 dollars per year, which isn't bad for something that makes tracking so simple.
- The Tempdrop app has been redesigned, which has greatly aided me in resolving my Tempdrop syncing issues. I still have syncing issues now and then, but with the app updates, it's gotten a lot better. Although the app isn't quite as customizable as Read Your Body, it does provide some additional data input points if you don't want to download a separate app.
It's simple to use and will keep you warm all night. It's a lot easier than fiddling with a thermometer in the middle of the morning when you're half awake. The only drawback is that the metal clasp is nickel-based, which I am extremely allergic to. I developed a large rash on my arm as a result of it. I used clear nail polish to protect myself from the metal clasp. That should do the trick. Overall, it's fantastic, but the clasp could be made of a higher-quality metal.
I knew my sleep pattern wouldn't work first thing in the mornings based on what I'd read about oral thermometers, so I went to Tempdrop right away. The instructions said I could put the Tempdrop inside the side of a cotton bra instead of wearing it on my arm, so that's what I did. I kept track of my temperatures for a cycle and discovered a very clear ovulation pattern! I never got to see how the temperature changed as my period progressed because I'm now due in February 2021! br>br>One thing to keep in mind is that the algorithm kicks in after about 14 days (ish) and will change your previous two days' temperatures going forward; it took me a day or two to notice this. It's supposed to do this because it gathers data from your sleeping patterns to create a smoother graph. br>br>Highly recommended!.
OPKs are unreliable when you have PCOS, and you can't reliably temp in the mornings when you have an irregular sleep schedule. br>br>My next option was a wearable BBT monitor, and TempDrop does the job well enough that I have no reservations. br>br>IT DOES, HOWEVER, HAVE FAILURES. The app is sloppy. br>br> I need to sync to the TempDrop App first, then chart my temperature with a different app? Why? Why isn't there a charting feature in the TempDrop App? There's no explanation for the smoothing capabilities, nor is there a clear way to see the raw, unsmoothed data. br>br>Despite the fact that I've only had it for about 45 days, the arm band is already showing signs of wear. br>br>My main complaint is that it is poorly constructed. You must press and hold the on button in order for it to sync with the app. It flashes red, then green to indicate that it is turned on, and then pulsing green to indicate that it is ready to sync. I'm not sure if mine is defective, but I have to press it firmly, and sometimes it just won't go past red or stop flashing, requiring me to fiddle with it even if I don't change the pressure. I'm not optimistic that this device will serve me well for an extended period of time. But, for the time being, I'm fine with it.
This is much easier and more convenient than using an oral thermometer first thing in the morning for natural birth control. My temperatures appear to be much more consistent and accurate now than they were previously!.
