Hello, br>br>Luteinizing hormone (LH) is produced and released by the anterior pituitary gland, and it is classified as a gonadotrophic hormone because it regulates the function of the gonads, which include the ovaries in females and the testes in males. Yes, these tests can be used by both men and women if LH is present. br>br>Best Regards,br>br>Jessicabr>Easy Healthcare Corporationbr>Customer Service Teambr>
Selected User Reviews For Premom Quantitative Ovulation Test Strips, Ovulation Predictor Kit with Smart Digital Ovulation Reader APP, Numerical Ovulation Tests, 20 LH Test
I used these when I had a false surge and thought I'd ovulated, and they accurately read a Low Surge. I continued to use the regular strips until I noticed another surge, at which point I tested with the Quantitative strips, which confirmed that they had detected my true LH Surge, and I am now 17 weeks pregnant! br>I recommend using all three methods, as I did, because the Premom App provides the most accurate strip readings and logs all of the data on an easy-to-read chart. If you want to keep track of your BBT, you can do so as well.
My peak was never picked up by the standard lh strips, as you can see. It was the semi that did it. The control line is always dark, while the only line that changes is the test time. It made the test a lot easier to read. After the app's bug was fixed, it worked flawlessly. I strongly advise you to purchase them. I'm not expecting my first because of these new strips.
So far, hands down, the best strips ever. I've been trying to get pregnant for 5 years and have tried so many strips. I recently discovered the pre mom app a few months ago but was using another brand of test strips. They suggested I buy theirs, which I did, and I got pregnant that month. I was shocked foreal. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant and have an ultrasound scheduled in two days. If you're like me, you've got nothing to lose and everything to gain by giving it a shot.
I never, and I mean never, write product reviews. With that said, I've been TTC for three months and have had three IUI's, the most recent of which was 1-month ago. 2020 I started using these OPKs in December and was kicking myself for not discovering them sooner. I'm one of those people who charts BBT and keeps track of my cycles and fertility using three different apps. This allows me to compare the data and ensure that everyone understands what is going on during each cycle. I will continue to use the Premom OPK's regardless of the outcome of this IUI cycle (results will be obtained on the 21st via a blood pregnancy test). They're simple to read, and unlike the easy@home app, which compares both lines to determine your result, the Premom looks at the test line to tell you the results, making it easier to comprehend and read. My only criticism of the OPK is that it is too expensive; I believe it should be priced similarly to the easy@home. They're not like the Proov progesterone test, which costs $40 for seven strips. Premom, in my opinion, is more similar to easy@home in terms of functionality and price.
I purchased them in the hopes that they would be clearer, allowing me to stop obsessing over the qualitative strip's darkness. From CD 10 to CD 10, I tested every day. I was 17 at the time, and I was sick of seeing a LH level of 5 or less. I stopped testing and only used qualitative strips after that. Then, on CD 27, I thought I noticed a slightly darker line on the qualitative strip, so I pulled these out, and WOW, my LH level increased dramatically, as evidenced by these strips. I kept track of my LH levels as they rose from 25 to 40 to 65! I then kept testing until my surge came to an end, so I knew when it was over. br>br>Once again, I enjoyed these strips because they eliminated the guesswork of "how positive" or "how negative" the other strips were.
Obviously, the main distinction is that these are semi-automated. As a result, the number provided by the premom app differs from the numbers provided by Amazon for the less expensive LH tests. I wouldn't have had a problem with this if I hadn't run out in the middle of my cycle and had to switch to these. Bad idea! There was a lot of confusion in the middle of the cycle as a result of this. However, it appears to be very accurate.
This product is simple to use and appears to be effective. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you connect to the app and have it take pictures for you, you can take three different pictures of the same strip and get three different readings. The good news is that it comes with a card that allows you to easily check if the automatic reading is correct and, if it isn't, manually correct it. Other than that, they're fantastic!.
It's great to be able to see when I'm really surging. br>br> My husband and I are currently undergoing medicated IUIs, and I believe that having precise measurable data will aid in the timing of the IUIs (though we have yet to be successful). br>br>I gave it to two of my TTC friends!.
