Questions & Answers

Does this provide any additional functionality over ClearblueAdv apart from its ability to remember Because both track the same hormones, why would we want to have both?

The opk just tells you to test during certain days, which is what I like about this fertility monitor. Basically, you turn the monitor on on day 6 and it tells you whether you should test or not, and you can tell how high, low, or average the value is. It is not uncommon for women to ovulate before or on the 14th day of the cycle when they have this information available. In this case, there is a chance to catch the cycle from the 5th or 6th day of the cycle. By keeping track of your cycle, it is also possible to register which days you had sex and to take the tracker with you to your doctor's appointment. My MTHFR gene makes my body break down folic acid and to shut off the blood supply as soon as I get pregnant, and my body doesn't produce enough progesterone, so as soon as I get pregnant my body automatically starts turning off the blood supply. My supplementation usually consists of vitamins and minerals. In the first edition of the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor, I have had 3 miscarriages before I had my son. It is my first month using the new monitor and preseed with a positive pregnancy test since we have been trying since January 2017 for our second child. I understand the concern on pricing, but this is a serious improvement over the first edition monitor that we purchased for $200. you need any other assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. It is my hope that you were able to make a decision after reading this.

With this monitor, can I use Pregmate ovulation test strips?

Consequently, I missed the cycle since I did not know and could not find the fertility test strip in any of my local stores. In order for this to work, the seller should clearly state what needs to be done.

An average of 10 sticks are needed every month, according to the description. How true do you find this to be?

Cycle length determines whether or not you need to take birth control. You should be good at sticking to it after 28 days, 10 days after that The average number of sticks should be 12 per month.

The peak days are the best times to have sex
5/5

It has been 3 cycles since I got pregnant. The process of getting pregnant took me three months at the age of 37. There is already a 5 year old in my family. lost a child at 23 weeks back in April (in 2017), and after trying to conceive in August without success, I figured I would reach out to Clearblue for assistance through their fertility monitoring program. With this monitor (an older version), I got pregnant on the second cycle with my 5-year-old when I used to use one. The previous two cycles, I did not have sex on the peak days of my previous two cycles, so I believe that it took 3 cycles for me to become pregnant. I had sex on the first peak day of the cycle during which I became pregnant. It is my recommendation to couples that this monitor is a useful tool to have, but make sure to go to the bathroom on either one of the peak days or both in order Furthermore, you might find it annoying, but you might want to record your basal body temperature. This way, you can figure out whether what the monitor has said is as it should be. However, I had made the mistake of setting the testing window at 5am - this was one of the mistakes I had made. My LH surge happened at 11am, so I could test any time between then and 1pm. However, if your surge occurred at 1pm, you would have missed your chance (because you had a short surge) and the monitor would not show the peak (since the The cycle I got pregnant, I changed the testing window to start at I believe 12pm, and instead of testing at 2pm, I tested at 12pm Monitors have a better chance of catching the LH surge because of that. The monitor and the sticks are both expensive, but in the end they are worth it. Also, I was able to get my positive by using the clear blue digital. Good luck to all couples trying to conceive. Be patient, be optimistic, and don't forget to take your prenatal vitamins.

It's an A+++++++++
5/5

As a Type A, I could not let anything be up to chance and had to bite the bullet and buy My husband and I are so glad we My initial impression of it didn't impress me because it wasn't detecting any surges, and I was almost at the end of my cycle. began to think this would not work for me, either because I wasn't ovulating or this cycle might not be So, it detected a surge on day 22 and I ovulated on day 23 as expected. It would have been easy for me to ignore this opportunity if I had not stuck it out. May 11th will be the due date of our first child.

So far, it's been working out well for us. As an alternative to Natural Family Planning, Clearblue is an effective method. the present time we are attempting not to get pregnant and it appears to be working so far for my husband and me.

You are warned
3/5

Some people may not be able to use this product. This testing will not be necessary for you if your LH surge lasts less than 24 hours because you may only have to perform this test once per day with this particular product. If you are testing in the morning, you will only be allowed to use your first urine sample. You should be able to check your urine twice a day if Clearblue reprogrammes the product. The second paragraph. There is too much money invested in this product to have it fail. One hundred ten dollars will get you the machine. This device is $40 for a box of thirty test sticks, and since I have used that device for 3 months and have used twenty sticks for every test, the cost adds That said, if this product had worked for me, the cost would not have been an issue for me. That’s not the case, however, and that’s what’s happening. 2.
My concerns were addressed by Clearblue representatives, who assured me that they weren't accusing me of misuse, but instead listed a long list of reasons it was my fault that I never received You can be sure that I read the instructions several times and followed them every step of the way. I. 4. I started using the cheap (inexpensive) ovulation strips after the first month because I had no trust in this machine. The market has a wide variety of brands. These strips have been successful for me so far. I test 4 times a day when I am about to ovulate because the tests are so inexpensive. Please note that Obviously, I do not want to trash Clearblue just this one particular product. The company has other, less advanced digital ovulation tests that are even more effective.

This is terrible! I'm so sorry! It is the most frustrating device! If your pee stick is one minute late, the computer won't accept it, so you have to wait until the next day, and it is very rigid and not set up to be flexible like other devices
3/5

After a certain portion of time has passed in the cycle, you will need to reset it to start another one. There is nothing funny about it. Firstly, you set the times you want to insert your pee stick. However, once those times are set, you are only able to insert your pee stick during In order to set up your cycle correctly, you must also manipulate the machine so that ZONE 1 is actually read as ZONE 1. My explanation of this machine is hard to understand, so in simple terms, buy the sticks that provide you with the message at that very moment, don't waste your money on this machine. The only thing it will achieve is to frustrate you. claims to collect your data on a monthly basis. Take a break and let me catch my breath. The timing doesn't tell much, but it tells you when the cycle stopped and when it started. It will be easier for you to keep track of your cycle if you have a better device. For it to tell you anything about your cycle, you have to set up several cycles. I would suggest you just get an excel spreadsheet, or a calendar, this isn't worth the trouble. As well as the sticks, the price is over $30. As a result, it is rather expensive and frustrating, not to mention that when a stick fails the entire machine will tell you to check later. Well, what if it was a peak day when the machine and pee stick were out, then you would have lost that information. When you buy this machine, make sure you have back ups, since sticks fail for a variety of reasons and you don't want to lose the data for that day, especially if it is a busy I hope this is helpful.

We've been successful! There is a baby in the house! Being an older couple in our 40s, we found each other later in life
5/5

As we were beginning our journey to have a family a bit later than others, we knew there would After several months of trying with cell phone apps, we got nothing. Since my cycle is variable, none of the apps worked. I was influenced by my sister and the reviews on this monitor to take the plunge and order one. I mean, what harm could come from it? The days where I feel like I am part of a science experiment have gone by. The first cycle was successful, and we got pregnant! looked into my belly three times and saw my little belly After all, I was pregnant! It's rare for me to write reviews, but I thought I would encourage all future moms out there to give this monitor a try if they're experiencing trouble getting pregnant. The experience will be worth it for you!.
