Is the line's brightness important?

No, JP. The lack of darkness in the hue is irrelevant. At 5 minutes, the T and C lines should be a rosy red or faint pink, indicating a negative result. These are prescreening tests that are pass/fail. Make sure to cut back on liquids a few hours before the test and avoid testing diluted urine. It's a good test for those who need to know what's going to happen before a mass spectrometer test; it doesn't test for the entire line of usable drugs, but it's good enough for anything I'd do, and it's a good test to know what's going to happen before my doctor's appointment (or my employer's appointment)

My test(s) were in no way conclusive!! Although this is a good product, comparing a known negative to a known positive raises some concerns

Lines aren't always accurate!! br>br>In my case, a known negative revealed weak double lines, which isn't very good. The known positive test had a fairly strong top line but a weak/faded second (negative) line, which I interpreted as a test showing drug use from a few days prior to taking the test, rather than within 24 hours.
