Product Description

ONLY ONE SMARTPHONE BREATHALYZER IS RATED - "When comparing smartphone breathalyzers to the $890 unit used by the California Highway Patrol, the police-grade model BACtrack Mobile was spot on." - The New York Times
BACtrack Mobile, powered by BACtrack's patented Xtend Fuel Cell Sensor, uses the same professional-grade technology trusted by hospitals, clinics, and even law enforcement to estimate your alcohol level with pro-grade accuracy.
KNOW WHEN YOUR BACTERIAL ACID CONCENTRATION WILL RETURN TO ZERO. BACtrack innovative ZeroLine technology estimates the time until your BAC is 0. 00%, which allows you to make better decisions while drinking.
CALL AN UBER - Keep in mind that the only time you should drive is when your BACtrack is at zero. 00%. Is there anything else? You can use the Uber App to call an Uber directly.

Questions & Answers

Can the app lock my drunk husband out of his phone, preventing him from texting people while inebriated?

Unfortunately, that feature is not available in the BACtrack App. It can provide you with a BAC reading as well as a description of how you're likely to feel at the time, but it can't stop you from texting while inebriated.

Will this prevent me from purchasing items on Amazon while inebriated?

Pierre,br>You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink, according to an old proverb. We can tell you your blood alcohol content and how drunk you are right now, but we can't stop you from buying that sick onesie with a DJ Cat eating pizza on it. That's a decision you'll have to make on your own, bro. _()_/ BACtrack Team _()_/ BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team BACtrack Team

If the bac value is greater than zero, it can be used to lock out eBay and Amazon. ?

No, it is not possible. Furthermore, the BAC you're referring to is twice the legal limit for alcohol consumption.

Is it possible that the device will be affected by the cold? Is it possible to leave it in the car during the winter?

When you're cold, it only takes a few seconds longer to warm up. Although the battery's lifespan may be shortened in extreme cold, I had no problems with functionality near 0 degrees F.

Good news: your drinking habits are being recorded by Big Brother
3/5

The only way to use this breathalyzer is to connect it to their own app. They collect information about you and sell it to third parties once you connect. The manual specifies this. It's going back to you.

If you live with an alcoholic, it's well worth it for your peace of mind
5/5

It's fantastic, and it's put an end to debates about whether or not someone in my house is inebriated. I can't tell you how much gaslighting this has saved me from if you live with an alcoholic who prefers to pretend you're insane instead of being drunk.

Worth it
5/5

I bought this a few years ago after a friend recommended it, and I've always thought it seemed pretty accurate based on how I felt. Tonight, I left the bar after averaging a drink every hour between Father's Day dinner and a date (I'm a 210 pound male). I could taste the alcohol, but I wasn't drunk. When I blew into the unit, it registered. I drove home because it was 05. I was pulled over for speeding and given a breathalyzer test by the cop, which came back with a. On his unit, it's number 04 I was very pleased with the accuracy of the unit and the fact that it registered slightly higher than the police officer's unit, despite the fact that my initial reading and his were separated by about 15 minutes. br>br>In the two years since I bought it, I had to have it calibrated once. After a couple of drinks, it didn't seem to register at all. I recommend using it on a regular basis to get a sense of your BAC. That way, if something doesn't seem right, you'll know to send it back to the manufacturer for recalibration. But, after tonight, I can confidently say that this product has proven its worth to me.

It's that easy; there's no need to guess; stay safe and smart! This device is fantastic; as soon as it arrived, I charged it and began downloading the app
5/5

br>br>First, a note on privacy: you have the option of creating a cloud account and saving data to your iPhone's health profile. I don't like the idea of saving/broadcasting potentially damaging personal data if I can avoid it, so I disabled both options. Legally, none of it should be admissible (at least in my state), so there's no reason for you to be the one fighting that battle. Thankfully, if you choose not to use the developers' cloud services, the app will not be hampered in any way. br>br>The unit itself is small, with rounded corners that don't snag in my pocket, and it's slim enough that it doesn't print much when I'm sitting. When it's in my girlfriend's handbag, the stark white/black color scheme makes it easy to spot in a dimly lit bar. It travels with us whenever we are out of the house and drinking. It has rechargeable batteries that appear to last a long time, and the app displays the battery level when it first starts up. br>br>Using BACtrack is simple; however, you must wait 15 minutes after your last drink or your readings will be inflated. Once you've passed the 15-minute mark, simply press the on/off button until it lights up, then open the app, wait a few seconds, and tap the screen when "BAC test" appears. The unit warms up before asking you to blow (a light on the hand held will flash as well). It may take a few tries to get used to, but once you do, it's very simple. Your BAC will be displayed after a few more seconds. It's "time to sober" is intriguing; it's usually off by a significant margin for me. br>br>My only gripe is that it has a "need a ride" button that opens your uber app, but it's buried in the settings menu for some reason if someone blows over or even at. 06 I wish it would appear in the search results. br>br>Even on nights when I wasn't drinking, I've had a few friends blow up and have to take uber or wait the 20-minute wait. To reach the legal limit, it takes 30 minutes. br>br>Overall, this is a fantastic piece of work. The unit's and app's designs are both straightforward and well-executed. It's crucial to keep things simple when dealing with people who may be impaired. I like knowing what my limits are, and knowing when I've exceeded them helps me make the best decision about whether to drive or take an uber.

After a weekend out, I know I drink a lot less and feel a lot better
5/5

This has completely changed my life; now that I understand how far off my perception of "drunk" is from reality, I drink much less. You're almost forced to compare reality to your perception because the app asks you to guess your BAC before you blow. After a weekend out, I know I drink a lot less and feel a lot better. Regards, and I strongly advise you.

4/5 Connectivity issues, but overall a fantastic experience! It's an excellent solution
4/5

when it is attempting to connect to my phone When I first received the device, I assumed I would pair it with my phone and have it work that way, but the device is designed to be used in such a way that you turn it on and the app connects to the Bluetooth. This is clumsy, inefficient, and inconvenient for me because it doesn't always work. This would be perfect if it worked every time you turned it on using the app, but unfortunately that isn't the case. I'd like to be able to pair the device with the phone indefinitely so that it can be more useful. Aside from that, this device is faultless and a lifesaver when you need it. It's even come in handy on occasion. 🙂.

Terrible
3/5

I'm not sure what this company's products are like. The S80, their more expensive model, broke down a few months ago. This little one's temperature was impossibly high last night (0. 37) on a variety of individuals. With that kind of BAC, I'm pretty sure they'd all be dead. This device is obviously untrustworthy, and thus is useless.

A good breathalyzer should be owned by anyone who enjoys a drink
5/5

This device is always charged and present in my truck. On weekends, I use it all the time and am extremely pleased with my purchase. It's terrifying to blow a 0 when you're feeling perfectly fine. I can't say for sure that it helped me avoid a DUI, but I can say that it has kept me from driving on several occasions. This book comes highly recommended.
