br>br>I got these because a friend of mine had "test strips" as well. She had previously used a different brand, and after a few nights of having a few drinks and the strip always being white (alcohol-related), she decided to switch brands. milk for free) - I was beginning to get concerned. . . are these actually working? So one night, instead of my milk, I dipped a strip in a shot of vodka to see if anything changed - Even before 2 minutes had passed, it began to turn bright blue (alcohol positive!). So I finally said, "OK, it works," though I was still a little nervous. Then, last night, I drank a little more wine than usual and immediately pumped. (According to my research, you should drink one drink immediately after breast-feeding/pumping and finish it 2- 3 hours before another feeding/pump). My strip became light blue for the first time - As a result, I emptied my milk jug. It's a bummer to have to get rid of these, but I'm relieved to report that they ACTUALLY WORK!.
The directions were straightforward and simple to understand. The outcome was unmistakable. I would strongly suggest it.
I put the strips to the test on breast milk that I had just pumped. I hadn't had a drink since February 14th, and I tried the strips on March 4th, so there wasn't any alcohol in my system. They are faulty or simply do not work, so I would not recommend them to other mamas.
A mother may require some refreshments from time to time.
I'm still new to breastfeeding and was too nervous to feed my baby during the holidays because I had a glass of wine. This purchase put my mind at ease while I was feeding my baby. It has a quick response time and is simple to read.
It's fantastic!.
These didn't turn out to be viable options. Even after a few drinks, the pop-up is always negative.
