What kind of choke is this if not a full-on are mod?

It's a staged choke for long range shooting at 70 yards that's tighter than a full choke. It's well worth the money.

Is this choke compatible with the Winchester SX4?

Yes, I have it installed in my SX4 and it works perfectly.

Is there a 12 gauge that this will work with?

It will only fit 12ga shotguns with a Browning Invector Plus choke threaded into the barrel. Mine came with a Winchester SX4 rifle that I purchased.

It was nearly impossible to get it wrong

I didn't have time to pattern it when I put it in my new sxp waterfowl hunter. I took it to the trap range for the first few shells, and I spent the entire day smashing clays. I hit some clays close and some clays far, and they all went down without a hitch. I let a few clays fly a long way and still managed to reach out and obliterate them. My teammates kept complimenting me on how accurate I was, and they, like me, were blown away. I'm confident that it'll drop ducks as well as clays. This choke has made me very happy.
