Because of reviews I had read that claimed filters on Amazon were not five layers, I was hesitant to order from Amazon. When I received these, I cut a corner off one of the filters. They are all five.
I strongly advise you not to buy this! What I ordered was not what I received. Gauze is basically what they are. It took them forever to arrive, and they're a complete waste of time and money. Don't waste your time or money on them. The disposable mask that came with it was also poor quality. My mind can't even comprehend why this is happening.

Nobody can be 100 percent safe, as we all know. An additional layer of protection can be provided by using these in conjunction with a well-made face mask. It was not necessary for me to cut them to count their layers, but they seem to be well made. Using this filter is much better than using a coffee filter, and the price is reasonable.
