With this product, there is no doubt that design and comfort are very important factors. It is easy to use and I could feel the difference right away. As for sleeping with it on, it was uncomfortable and I don't even like wearing socks when I sleep. Despite wearing it after work for about two hours a day for a couple weeks, I still got a lot of use out of it. After a half an hour, the plastic slots where the Velcro band slides into snapped. I moved the band to the next slot, but this one also snapped, after a half hour. No matter how I cranked it, it wasn't too tight actually, I kinda like the product, but I wish it were a bit more durable.

It is easy to wear and it aligns the big toe in the correct place. As a result, other toes do not become crowded. This is a comfortable watch that I can wear for a couple of hours at a time. The only complaint I have is that it only lasts about three hours. It takes four hours at a time for me to remove it, then pain drives me to do so. Due to the bunion, other parts of the foot have been misaligned. After realigning the toe, these other parts of the foot are also realigned. It is my belief that over time, this will stop assuming the toes become properly positioned.

My rating would have been higher if I had given it after two days, but after the joint wears out, you have to tighten the straps more and more until the circulation to your foot is completely cut off, and at that point the swivel joint is worn. I regret purchasing this, as it won't be used and I wish I had bought something else instead. The pros of this are that it holds your big toe away from your other toes and it works well. The bulk of this is not to be liked. There is no way I can wear it in my sneakers, since I wear them most often. It will slide when walking barefoot around the house in this. I hasten to add that I tried walking barefoot while wearing this and it still slides In the bottom of the table, the edge will strike the floor and rise. It happened even after I tightened the foot strap and readjusted. I initially had a hard time getting the padding off. I was able to do it after a few minutes, but after that it slid diagonally as opposed to on the side. Just over a month ago I received it, and I have worn it five times since then In bed, you should repeat this 10 times a night. Detachment of the padding from the hard plastic piece had started at the foot edge. A piece of double sided tape seems to have held it down to the plastic. My expectation is that it will fully come off sooner rather than later after I pressed it back down.

As for the 5. 0 stars, it's still new, so I can't give it all. Wear it at night as well as during the day if I find myself at home. I wear a gel pad and a separater as well. While uncomfortable, I don't mind it so much. My sleeping bag shifts during the night even when I keep it Because it is a bit bulky, you should wear socks that you don't mind stretching out. It prevents me from wearing my slippers or shoes. While it took me a little while to get used to it, it is not that bad. I am just trying to keep my toe straight and avoid surgery, which means keeping it straight 24 hours a day. Things do seem to be straightened up with this. As a result of bunions, I have extremely painful feet. My main purpose for buying these was some relief, and just to make walking in the house more comfortable. Nevertheless, these are the WORST bunion correctors I have ever bought, and I buy a lot of bunion correctors. These are extremely uncomfortable to wear! Because I couldn't believe what a horrible product it was, I bought it three times. I would recommend saving your money if you are on the fence about buying this product. The amount of times I've tried this seems helpful, although I've only done it a handful of times so far. As a result, I gave it four instead of five stars, since it seems that if I do not position it just right and tight, it looks like nothing is happening.
